Ordered RSB and Honda grille. Going to paint the bar in grille Taffy white similar to Connor55's.

Four Chinese cabin filters arrived today - $19.

The Cusco stabilizer bars arrived. Quickly installed the rear one as it is less involved. No real driving yet, so I can't comment on any feeling. My car was already quite stiff, but hoping that these bars were mated to one another to inhibit a little more tail happiness for better rotation out on circuit.

Was able to figure out my Ipod connectivity issues by getting a new cable

So happy to have my music back, the radio was driving me nuts with all the commercials and poor sound quality

So the gone set are also ProjectMu HC+, they lasted over 2 years with numerous circuit days, mountain runs and the daily grind. Very happy with the life I got out of them, because I'm very hard on my brakes when on circuit. Changed out just the front pads, but I'm sure the rears are needed as well and I have the pads, just was running short on time. Flushed and changed my brake fluid to Castrol SRF as well. Wanted to give it a try. The previous fluid was still quite clean and not really needing to be changed, but did it just because.

I was going to also try to do the front sway, but working on jackstands in a store's parking garage was not going to happen; what a pain in the ass to get to the 4 bolts holding it in place.

5 weeks in, I just noticed something about my Fit (which had one previous owner for ~ 5 months):

See it?

Or rather, don't see it?

Fortunately, I'm a minimalist.

Unless you have a badge that says STi, M, AMG, etc, then who needs one?

That empty spot just screams "place custom emblem here."

The part where I didn't even notice it wasn't there until just now suggests I don't/won't miss having anything there(!).

True! In fact, "Fitless" is what I named the folder where I transferred my picture(s) before making the above post.

Hmmmm. It would have to be something very compelling. I'm thinking my custom plate (incoming) will be enough "lettering" for such a small area. Classy, even.

Nothing blatant, just a dab where the eye expects to see something... it's just not what they're looking for and probably won't notice. But you'll know.

Like a tattoo, you need to pick carefully.

This all makes good sense, and you're right about knowing if/when I see the right thing.

This is fun.

Kind of the same idea as having a shift knob without the shift pattern actually on it. If you don't know what the pattern is or what kind of car it is you're looking at, then you don't NEED to know .

[I'm not stalking you, honest; I'm just thrilled with my new Fit, it's cool to see another the same color, and we seem to be on a similar accessory trajectory. ]

Where did you find the Form Fit hood protector? Their website does not seem to be functional...? (PM me, if that's more appropriate.)

Thanks!

Meanwhile, we're shiny again:

I have always liked the Fit emblem from the first gen Fit, just cuz it has that blue dot on it. That could look nice on your car.
