What did you do to your GE fit today?
but I think it came with the RS speedometer only...
I should mention: If anyone is looking for the OEM leather steering wheel cover, amazon Canada has it for almost 1/4 MSRP. $21.55 CAD. Part number checks out with Bernardi, but college hills has a different number.
CHH has: 08U98-TK6-120
Bernardi has: 08U98-TK6-110
Both numbers check out as a leather steering wheel cover that fits 09-12 Honda Fit.

Ripped out the rear interior trim looking for the source of noise coming from the back(which turned out to be suspension spring seat...), thought I'd stuff some noise damping and absorbing materials in between the panels before fitting them back in.

A piece of vibration damping material and a big bag of noise insulating material

Rear wheel well vibration dampening pads applied. (the factory installed dampening pad seem to have dried up and lost its function...)

Right rear interior panel. The thin white lining was factory installed. The left rear has a much thicker factory installed insulation material, much like the ones I purchased.

Might as well...

And finally the spare tire well

And covered

I can safely say that it has quietened down the clunking noise from the back by 50% or more, and reduced rolling noise of the rear tires noticeably.
However, the real culprit of the noise... Dealt with by shrink wrapping the spring end.

I just looked at Amazon and the one there with Logo is made in California. Not an OEM. - Honda Steering Wheel Cover Carbon Fiber & Synthetic Leather Grip - Small 13.5"-14.5" in Black: Amazon.ca: Automotive
This is the one I bought.
I've been on here for a while as a lurker and rarely post, but thought it was time.
These just arrived from Japan and are now on my Fit Sport.

I've never been a fan of the North American tails, so I've been on the lookout for a good price on a set of these for a while. I almost bought a set from dannypal, but then I found these on eBay for $150 US (including shipping) right from Japan. Couldn't be happier.
Also installed an OEM aluminum shift knob (Honda part no. 08U92-S6M-200A).
I have an OEM hood edge deflector coming in this week. The hood has been taking a beating on my daily drives down the highway and last week got a nice dent from a flying rock.
I regret not putting the money out for the clear bra when I purchased the car new.

I just took my hood deflector off after running one since new. I did replace it once after it took a rock.

Agree. JDM base tails clean up the look of the rear. More Honda like. Light output is weak though. Wish they were LED.
Got it back for a 2nd time from J's. It was the transmission seal that was nicked when putting it back together causing the very slight oil showing up between the engine and tranny. The new slightly shaved flywheel and clutch were installed since J's was opening it back up. No CEL on the drive back, which Kaz from J's did. I can't honestly say vast improvement, still yet to beat on it, but it does seem like it revs a bit quicker. Just need to get out on a circuit again. The new hobby of MTB is going to damage me.
Stopped by my friend's place and he snapped some shots real quick.

JDM 07 10 Honda FIT GE GE6 Jazz Taillight Tail Light Genuine | eBay
Was going to get them through dannypal as well.. but wasnt sure about this seller, and I'm still debating these base tails or the JDM Led like bmw alpina has on his fit
Did you get charged any duties? And did it include all sockets -- plug and play?

Glad to see your beast back on the road

They have some very, very minor scuffs here and there, but more than acceptable in my view. A little polish might actually hide most of them. Bulbs and sockets were all included. I was able to install them that evening after picking up at the postal outlet.
They also came really quick. I'd say 1-2 weeks from purchase.
For me, it was a set of these, or Axis tails.
Definitely! I used to visit Kitchener more often when I owned my Civics and TSX (and before married life and kids). I even recall going to a big Honda-Tech meet near (or at) Sportsworld maybe 10 or so years ago. Other than the odd client meeting for work, I rarely am out that way these days.
