Its not much but its just enough that the tape wont make contact with the hatch on those outer corners...
The fitment for the lip is perfect but for the diffuser mines doesn't sit flush on the left and right edges just like you mentioned "not perfectly curved to the top", I'm not sure why... I drilled the diffuser to align with the holes where the bolts go in perfectly and it still won't sit flush. I'm thinking about taking it off and redoing it because my exhaust is hitting up against it and it's makes that rattling noise that drives me nuts.

What you mean by JDP helping you out? Did you already installed the part? I noticed you're using the rear Mugen lip. I went with JDP because it's cheaper compared to Mugen.

Hey Waiz,

That gloss vinyl top was it expensive and hard to put on? I'm considering whether if I should get it or not. I have the worst technique for installing anything vinyl so.. I'm a bit skeptical.

I was actually talking about the wing. I noticed you have the jdp wing as well so thats why i asked. Like i said before my wing doesnt fit quite perfectly. Its only off by a couple mm but its enough to not have the tape make contact with the car in a couple spots. Hes gunna help me figure this out or hopefully refund me, and hey hes actually being responsive now !

As for the diffuser i had the same problem with the sides not lining up, i just added an extra layer of tape to close the gap, but i eventually decided to go mugen anyway.

Funny/sad how receiving an email from him counts as doing something to your Fit nowadays...lol. I'd never do business with someone who does so poorly at maintaining communication with customers.

If you are talking about the UPPER Spoiler,
then it is Takero's and I bought them at Japanparts.com

I bought OE black Honda spoiler tabs for like 25 bux to use wit the spoiler. And the rear bumper section is just plastidipped. I had the jdp carbon diff piece but sold it b/c of some fitment issues.
Do you have any more pictures of the current setup and spoiler... That duckbill looks less aggressive than jdp.. Looks pretty good... Why did you change it to jdp?

Also, have you test fit the jdp carbon spoiler... Wondering if it has fitment issues like Connor had with his oem+ being off by a few mm

the upward sweep on this spoiler is def very subtle and i honestly wouldn't it call it a true duckbill. i bought the jdp one because it is more aggressive and noticeable. also, i like to have multiple parts to swap out and change the look of the car from time to time. i have 3 spoilers, 4 sets of wheels, 2 hoods and 3 sets of taillights, LOL. but i haven't mounted the jdp wing yet. i had my bodyshop reclear the spoiler right after i received it and its been sitting in the box since then. i will only use this spoiler for the summer months to keep it in excellent shape.

Speaking of wings, i tried mine on and it looks nice. Im just nitpicking about the fitment problems, but i guess i could let it go...

Still need to paint it of course.

Do You mean Tail Light or ?
If the tail light, then it is JDM RS LED Tail Light (after the facelift).
Well, I bought this from Thailand but they are original OEM Honda too.

if you are talking about the bumper, then it is the JDM Fit RS bumper combine with JDM Fit RS Mugen Rear Lower Spoiler.

Its not so much that its doing something to your fit, as it is that this thread has now become somewhat of a general chat thread.

And just wait until you decide you want a lip/spoiler/diffuser. Not to many options to go with so we are at the mercy of one aftermarket manufacturer :/

Wow that looks pretty good. Is that the garage door sealer or something else entirely? Did you bolt it to the underside of the bumper or just 3M tape?

Its very close if its not used for the garage door sealer.... It does flare out at the bottom, It comes with 3m and I just used that....

Hey Connor,

Yea you're right.. I noticed the wing doesn't sit flush on the left and right edges... by a few mm. Noticed also... the front left side of my JDP lip isn't sitting flushed after letting it settle for a few days... I guess nothing JDP sits flushed . The agony of using custom built parts LOL
