Well I failed installing my windshield banner

I was trimming the excess when the blade slipped and caused a tear. Also the vinyl was paper thin, and I am pretty sure it wasn't made for wet application.

But it only cost me 7.95, so I am not too upset. But I might get a professional shop to do it. I tried going on the cheap, but its not worth the headache :/

Thanks! It really does! One of the reasons why I picked the shape haha. It looks even better in person.

I NEED that.

Hi Mr. Hollow,

we discuss a bit about this a while ago...

Have you get more information about this?

I wonder if the RS badge is a metal badge or just a sticker...
If it is a metal badge then I plan to buy a JDM RS speedometer
and peel it out and move it to mine hahaha

Does anyone have any recommendations for steering wheel covers? I wanted to swap to the FA5 Civic leather wheel but I haven't had much luck finding cheap ones recently. I'd prefer leather/suede with red stitching.

I can't recall too much, but if I am remembering correctly i think the owner said it was attached to the speedometer itself. I don't think its an individual badge part.

If you purchase the speedo use that instead of the usdm one. It has the orange led lights.

Hi Mr. Hollow,

I had done some digging, I don't think it is electronically compatible since in Japan if I am not mistaken RS came in either Manual or CVT Transmission...
plus they don't have seat airbag so I don't think it will work properly...

beside I already bought a BLUE Defi boost and water temp gauge so it will not match the orange light of the JDM meter..

but I do have some plan and I will update you more soon

Hi Mr. Hollow,
I just bought a used JDM Fit RS speedometer with RS Logo...
I found out the center square piece behind the RS logo can be removed so I am going to swap it with my USDM speedometer

I don't plan to install the rest of the JDM RS speedometer with the orange/amber lighting though...
so soon I will try to sell it here for dirt cheap

Ordered a few things:
- Duraflex Type M Side Skirts (been looking forward ordering these for a few months already, I was thinking about purchasing mugen replicas but didn't want to wait 3 weeks for them to get here)
- Sport inner fenders (I think this would complete my base to sport conversion, currently the base inner fender are smaller and there's a little gap visible between the bumper and the fender)
- Headlight bracket/support (My bumper is misaligned due to the current supports on my headlight being broken, hopefully this can fix it)
- Mugen Key Cover
- Vacuum Tubing Hose (going to use this to fix the cargo cover rattle that is pissing me off, there's a thread about it here: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...tle-fixed.html)

Thanks for reading.

Good choice, but be ready to do some work. Mine were a "direct fit" meaning I didn't have to cut/sand anything, but they are a TIGHT fit. Also get some super strong molding tape or something similar. I used my trusty 3M molding tape and it hasn't held as nicely as I thought it would... So maybe do some research on tape. The bolts on the sides are kind-of DIY meaning that there are no pre-drilled holes in the skirts, and the placement is up to you. If you need any more help with the install feel free to PM me.

Hey there,

One of the reasons that I decided to order these in particular, was that you mentioned before that they were a tight fit. I wouldn't go with the 3M considering how hot Dominican Republic is, the tape would just peel off. My plan is to screw the skirts on the sides (I already have the holes from the previous skirts I had) and if I see any gap I will use liquid urethane to stick it. Do you mind uploading some pictures to see how it looks on yours ?

Btw, I just ordered a complete set of Aries 3D all-weather floor mats and found a deal on ebay on new body side moldings for only $60. My doors are all dented due to the parking space in my office.
