What did you do to your GE fit today?
Cleaned it and put in my Mugen mats for the picture, but I won't allow feet on them lol oh still need to put in my center caps, I haven't reattached them yet since the wheels came from the powdercoater. I need new tires also, anyone with some 205/45-17 tires for sale?

Not sure if my mats are in right, since I never use them..lol

Thanks and you too! Love that meaty set up and pretty much the look I want. Just trying to figure out how to accomplish it with the 17" wheel I have. I'm torn between 215/45, 225/40 or 225/45.

I still looks good before lowering. Did it rub before lowering and was weight a factor in adding to the Fit?
but since the tire was 225/40/18 and had so much grip,
it easily overcome the stock suspension.
it was also a bit heavier plus the larger total diameter make the gearing artificially higher thus make the acceleration slower.
but now that I use BBS forged 18in wheel which is very light plus the tire is
215/40/18 which is about the same diameter as our stock wheel/tire
so now the acceleration is similar to normal.
so if you want to have good handling with 18in wheel, I think a coilover suspension is a must. I was using Bilstein Cooilover and the result is very good with that OZ Racing wheel, and Now I am using Ohlins coilover so it is even better.
If only... Any noticeable difference with all that weight gone?
So i took the spare, jack, tools and seats out. I want to say i notice a very slight difference. Kinda like putting on an intake a you feel like its got a little more throttle response, i guess thats the best way to describe it. The rear end does feel stiffer which id assume is due to less weight. I like it and im kinda motivated to get it lighter. I really want to trade out my 17" wheels for 15" or 16" wheels if anyone is interested.

Got my 4th baby on the way, so wife wouldnt be too happy about buying wheels right now haha
ahhh, you are definitely keeping those fronts higher than I had set them to. I'm definitely having a small bit of rubbing (and I had a flat in the rear but that was unrelated). I should probably raise them a bit but I thought they would have been ok. I guess I have just been use to stiffer springs on my coilovers.

this pictures above is when I still using the stock suspension and I haven't bought/install the Bilstein yet.
After I bought the Bilstein, I had to roll both front and rear fender a little bit,
and put minus 2.5 camber up front to prevent rubbing.
Below is the pictures after lowered with Bilstein:

If you're looking for lighter wheels on a budget, looks for a set of Mini R81's. I'm sure everyone here is sick of me touting them, but 12 lbs per wheel, and mine cost me $125 for a set. You can't argue with the price or the result.

but no money now...
