something like that, but they already have the 3M double tape already attached (they claim heat bonded) with all the screws and extra square washer to help hold the rubber and in my case colored dark grey...
they probably make $10 profit to $20 profit per kit,

but I am ok to pay them some extra profit since they already do almost half of the job for me which is installing the 3M double tape to the rubber material, which I am sure is a pain to do myself

It is, but like Alpina said it is much easier just to buy it. I've made my own lip and the tape will start to come off and peel after awhile.

Can't wait to see pics Alpina...might convince me to get some myself =) Seems like an easy mod while my Fit just sits waiting for an airbag.

So I replaced the 6K rear springs with the 8K ones I got from the front since I had switched the front to 12K Swift springs. Here's how she sits now Ride quality is amazing, wish I had done this sooner haha. Will be able to run much wider spacers in both front and rear.

Saw a youtube video comparing all-fit, ezlip and the garage opener stuff. Allfit seems to be much denser and less prone to tearing and more durable than other alternatives. May have to get a front lip kit while my Fit sits.

Hi Burzpaw,
so the much firmer spring did not make the ride harsher?
What is the handling / road feel different between the softer and harder spring?
Thanks

The firmer spring really should make the ride harsher, but with the height I'm running the coilovers, the original springs are too soft. It's bumpy, and the travel allows rubbing(if any) as well as scraping on dips on the road. Some who are even lower have problems with wheel lips touching the fenders. So we run higher spring rates to combat these issues. Swift springs are magical though, they do not feel as stiff as you think they are. With the 12K Swift springs in the front, you definitely feel the road but the ride is not bad at all. I really like this setup and plan to do 10K in the rear eventually.

** I'm using the springs more for form not function-- but they perform even better when tracking; the right amount for spring rates gives better handling and more power to the wheels I believe. Not so experienced with that so I'm just going with what I've seen so far haha.

Can't help but stare every time you post a pic... beautiful. Is your front lip cracked in the middle, or is it supposed to be like that?

Thanks, I really appreciate it!
And yea it's cracked. Unavoidable metal object on the freeway-- I already have an extra lip in my house waiting, but anxious to put it on too early before the Wekfest show; don't want anything to happen to it haha.

Damn, at least it's an STI lip and not a super expensive JDP lip or something. And yeah literally wait 'til the night before to put the new one on because you know how it goes...

Yea definitely, I can't imagine scraping up carbon fiber haha.
I could run without the damaged lip but it actually protects my wrap right now-- my bumper wrap would be scraped up if the lip wasn't there, so.. on it stays.

Took advantage of the $20 off $100 ebay coupons and went crazy buying parts for the Fit.

Dodged a bullet yesterday. There was an explosion about 10 feet from where I park for work. Luckily I was off so I wasn't there. Unfortunately I was off so I didn't get to see it.

Quick Question Guys,

Anybody here know the diameter of the Radiator Coolant HOSE for GE?
The main hose near the radiator cap.
I want to buy a Temperature Adapter and need to know the diameter.
I know for GD is 30mm but what is it for GE ?
Thanks

Well 400-600 range is normal. Anything more and your being taken for a ride. It's a lip not a bumper.

But don't knock a 300 hundred dollar JDP lip, its not like the Fit is a normal car anway

Honda Fit: The official car of "Don't see many of those", even at the dealer. I often wonder if we're driving a future cult classic like the Chevy Beretta.

Cleaned my car out today, and decided to move the service history into a binder. Also pulled my junkyarding tools out of the trunk for now.
