I think theres a loose connection in my control box connector or somewhere close to there because after pulling and twisting it a bit the light came back on. But then after a few minutes it stopped working again. Time to email trs sigh

I love 6000k, both my HIDs and Parking Lights are as such. My DRLs are somewhere between 5000 and 5500k, and I feel like they produce a much brighter white than 6k does. I personally prefer the way 6000k looks over the 5500k, but I guess it's just personal preference.

absolutely loving 6000k at this time. no hint of blue. just disappointed at the color temp of the XCs. they are just off color completely.

But you should search for S204 or V-spec because they aren't more than $60 shipped. So, unless they're selling a carbon fiber one, they're ripping you off :P

But I have yet to see one on a base.

I see. Btw, isn't the GD bumper the same size as the GE's?

Haha the GD in there is Jarius'-- he has the s204 also. Not sure about sizes. The s204 is pretty much retrofitted onto our bumpers; It's pretty flexible.

Well thanks for the feedback, I could go ahead and spend $60 on either this or the allfit white lip. I want the car to look lower but don't know if the STI lip will grant me that look.

the s204 lip is the same lip I put on that you were asking about.. the vspec has those little "wings" that would need to be cut off and made shorter to fit

even unpainted in black it makes the fit look lower... when we had the little meet here people thought my car looked lower from the front view even though i'm stock height.. but yah have not seen it put on a base model

but that ad is way too much.. just order the $60 one.. although shipping to canada sucked for me hah

if you had thoughts of painting it white.. take a look at fitthestance on instagram.. he did it a while back (on a sport bumper) but can give you an idea.. i think it looks better in black than white

You pretty much gave me a clear idea on how it would look, if you can retrofit-it and knowing is polyurethane then I don't think I will have any issues installing it. I will be ordering this lip and will report back here, hopefully my base model can be an example for other members. TBH I truly regret not buying the sport model on a daily basis (however I wasn't very Fit-literate when I got my base model), however, this is the one I got and I need to take out the best of it.

Will post pics in about 2 weeks when I receive it, should also have my red emblems installed by then aswell.

Man where has this lip been my whole life? $60?? Definitely my next purchase. In terms of installation, would you just screw it to the bumper?

Yea haha. Most should come with nuts & bolts and maybe even some self tapping screws. I have the bolts on mine, it's a trooper. Bolts or rivets will definitely take the beating and hold up well.

It's a little bigger/wider/longer than the Fit so you want to start in the middle and bolt the lip on while bending it to conform to the Fit. And you'll have to cut the ends.

Finally got a new windshield! No more 09-10 windshield crack! Also ordered a Blox battery tie down from Amazon, and a boatload of 194 LED bulbs. I need to replace one because it shines green, and the wife's truck needs quite a few to complete the conversion.
