Which TPMS did you bought?
I also just bought 1 piece of TPMS to test fit with my wheel...
this one:
VDO SE10002 REDI-Sensor
cause this one suppose to have stem that is pivoting to accommodate
different wheel contour...

My BBS Red Emblem and Red Lug Nut just arrived,
The Lug Nut is very good quality, it even have a ring on the surface where it touch the wheel that can spin freely to reduce friction when tightening the Lug Nut.

I also order 4piece of Schrader EZ-Sensor part#34000 TPMS service kit to move the old TPMS from the OZ Racing wheel to the new BBS today,
and 3 piece of 215/40ZR-18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports yesterday.

^^ It's the small details like those there that really make cars stand out to me. I can't wait to see them installed!

looking forward to your opinion of the rigid collar. This seems like a logical upgrade to me.

Cheer up! You have one of the coolest car around her, maybe in the US . That should be enough to keep you smiling even when there are dark times.

When I got new wheels (and tires) the shop transferred the TPMS for free (maybe there was a TPMS reseal kit, I don't remember) and I think that's less of a hassle than buying new TPMS sensors all around, but it may prove to be beneficial in case you ever have to revert back to your other wheels.

ull have to pay every time to resync your wheels.

Hi Mr. Hollow,
Even if you bought a stock Honda TPMS,
As far as I know, you still have to sync it again to your car.
The only way you won't need to sync is if you transfer your current TPMS from the old wheel to the new wheel.
But if you do this, you need to buy a service kit (rubber seal, nut, core, etc) so it won't leak air.

There are 2 different type of aftermarket TPMS though,
the fully Programmable one like Schrader and (and non programmable) but ready for selected application like the VDO Redi.

If you buy Programmable one like Schrader EZ Sensor then you got to
have it PreProgram for your car (like what TireRack do before they ship
the TPMS to you),
or bring it to a shop that have Device to Program it to recognize
the Honda TPMS system.
and after that you still have to SYNC it with your specific car TPMS system by plugging a sync device to the OBDII port.
In our case Schrader EZ sensor 33000 or 33500 (315Mhz) will fit for Honda Fit.

while the non programmable one like VDO Redi is already program from factory (and non programmable again) fix for your car specification.
in our case VDO Redi SE10002 (315Mhz). but even VDO Redi
still need to be SYNC with your specific car TPMS system before
it can work again by plugging a sync device to the OBDII port.

Anyway, since you buy the Honda TPMS,
perhaps it is best if you try tire shop like Discount Tire
to sync your new TPMS to your car, (like I did)...
I think it will be much cheaper then going to Honda dealership

Damn shame the nanny device is mandated in the US. If it was I, I would just get rid of the TPMS system and eliminate the dash light one way or another.

this is what i did... but you can't turn off traction control with TMPS light on... so yeah.

ill be reinstalling my tpms next set of tires (prolly december)

Hmm that is good to know, I was going to keep the stocks in case I ever needed a temporary back up but even then they won't be synced up.

The whole TPMS thing does more harm than good. I really wish it was an optional extra. Thanks for letting me know about the two types. Thankfully my friend works for honda so he gets me a discount.

They are aluminum, I have heard some stories of aluminum seizing onto the studs under extreme pressure and that they should only be hand torqued because they can strip if using an impact gun. But we will see, didn't feel like paying $80+ for lugs.

I have been slowly 'touching up' the numerous stone chips on the Jazz bonnet (thats the hood to everyone over the west side of the pond)

Got a great kit from Chipex which is shed loads better than the 'normal' touch up paints, though it is labour intensive to get it right.

Before and after pics to follow once I have finished the whole bonnet. Paint chips are like weeds. You see one, pull it out and then find loads more.
