I blame the phone, works fine on the pc
Had new Advan A050s (215/50R15) installed onto my 15" front CE28s to prepare for the upcoming J's Suzuka Time Attack event next month. The 15" CEs actually do clear the J's calipers when combined with a spacer, which I have been using a H&R hubcentric 10mm spacer on all my wheels since acquiring the calipers, not needed on the majority of my sets, but 10mm more track on both sides is a nice thing. The difference in weight between the 15 and 16 CEs makes it a no brainer to use the 15s. Though the 16" A050s will be used Thanksgiving day back over at Sodegaura Forest, well maybe, supposed to be rainy the last I checked so it might have to be the AD08Rs.

Had new Advan $$$$s (215/50R15) installed onto my 15" front $$$$s to prepare for the upcoming J's Suzuka $$$ Attack event next month. The 15" $$s actually do clear the J's $$$$$ when combined with a spacer, which I have been using a H&R hubcentric 10mm spacer on all my wheels since acquiring the $$$, not needed on the majority of my sets, but 10mm more track on both sides is a nice thing. The difference in weight between the 15 and 16 $$s (wait a minute, two sets?) makes it a no brainer to use the 15s. Though the 16" $$$$s will be used Thanksgiving day back over at Sodegaura $$$, well maybe, supposed to be rainy the last I checked so it might have to be the $$$s.
Then I look at your pictures and just can't comprehend it. Not trying to sound like an ass in any way but it's just crazy to me. How much total have you invested in your Fit, if you even wanna think about that? And maybe this is in the wrong thread, sorry
Somebody has to keep the economy moving. :P TOO MUCH, but I may die tomorrow, so I enjoy doing what I love to do. Little hard if I do make it to 80 to be getting into and out of a full bucket seat around a roll cage and attack a track.
Though I imagine if I'm capable at that age, I will still be doing so.

I've been planning to plastidip my stock wheels this weekend, but apparently the world has other plans. My daughter has a soccer game in the morning, but it's supposed to rain here. Sunday it's supposed to be beautiful, but my mom has us taking family Christmas pictures. You can imagine how I feel about that.
One quick question about the plastidipping (I looked at the DIY, but didn't see it covered) - do I just paint the faces of the wheels? Or do I paint the inside as well?

This is how I just read your post:

It's not money invested in a Fit, it's money spent on what he wants. I think it's crazy, too, but it's not my time or money. It's not his job to spend his money the way I would- that would be even crazier.
What's really great is that just about all of us here love driving, we've all picked the same platform to do it in, and there are still huge differences in the way we go about the whole thing.

There is no difference in the way he spends his money. A hobby is a hobby. I've seen guys spending 15k on b series motor with turbo and and others spending 15k on a paint job for their Impala. The point is "worth is based on the person and not how we perceive it to be". 555sexydrive I applaud you for doing what you love while you are able. If I had the dedication you have, I would have gotten my db8 going around the track all motor.

Also 555, I would absolutely love to see you mod a Civic Type R the way you have a Fit. Are they as popular as I would think in Japan?

Few things arrived today from Amazon:

- Blox Mini Antenna - The stock antenna was scratching my mugen spoiler so I had to order a smaller one. Looks really good, haven't noticed any loss of signal reception. Btw, the sticker that came with it is bigger than the antenna itself and IMHO it looks ugly as heck.

My OCD didn't kick in when it saw the BLOX logo not being aligned, so, left it as is.
- Tailgate Clips Retainer - My tailgate cover was becoming loose, realized most of the clips were broken so I ordered a box of about 16 of them for really cheap. I replaced all of them and now my tailgate cover holds like it should.
- Nokya H4 7000k-like Headlight Bulbs - Decided to remove my HID kit (didn't have retrofit and the light wasn't spreading like I want it, so I wanted to go back to stock).

Pic of course was taken during the daylight since I couldn't wait for tonight, I will test again and see if it needs any alignment. The green light you see below come from the foglight.
That's all for today folks.

but this Mugen one have K&N air filter with DOUBLE the surface area,
for easier breathing and also have that tune pipe intake (almost like velocity stack kinda of thing)...
here is the pictures of my current OEM / Genuine Honda CR-Z Airbox
that is on my car now for comparison and you can see how
small the K&N Filter in this OEM one vs the K&N Filter in the Mugen one...

Man, that method of economics is the type I wish I learned about in Civics & Econ... Keep doing whatcha do, you're an inspiration for everyone in this forum. Also, if you're 80 and don't feel like getting into a bucket seat, I can always take over :P
Again, I'm not ridiculing or criticizing 555 in any way, and I don't want to start any arguments. I am just continuously amazed with his rendition of the Fit. Xtina, I agree, and I would probably have a few more Mugen parts if it weren't for those damn hookers... Fit Charlie, this is what amazes me every day about this forum: the fact that there are somewhere around 81k members, and no fit is alike. It's incredible. Regdog77, I agree entirely, although I would prefer a DB9 (Aston)

Depending on how long I stay here, I will most likely drop a K into this Fit and shed even more weight from it and continue beating on it all while being a daily driver.
So about a Civic, I still would love to have a FD2R one day, the new Civic R, it's fast, but I don't think it really possesses the true soul of what a Type R is all about. So I doubt I would ever see myself wanting one. In that regard, if/when a K goes into this Fit, it would be much more a R than the new Civic R for myself at least.I didn't at all take anything negative from your post and I've stated long ago on this forum, that I hope nobody ever takes any of my postings as I'm looking for adulation or Tarzans from anyone. Just sharing my joy for anyone that so happens to want to ride along on the journey.
