Installed spoiler brackets I bought off TFC member that makes them.

Only concerns are some things don't line up. The holes are about 2mm off, the angle is off on one of the brackets and there is 3m tape that pads the brackets. Although nothing a trip to the hardware store can't fix.

I'm not really mad, although I will be modifying the brackets myself to make them work...

I message him and he said he would send out another bottom bracket part, so I am happy.

Just want to do little things like paint the brackets all black, replace the 3m tape with 1/8" black foam, replace the bottom bolt head with something wider and buy plugs to cover the holes.

I definitely could not have made these, but I want to "polish" them up a little to make it seem more stock- like.

I was gonna paint mine too but I kinda like the polished looked. On my GD3 model there is a little plastic clip in those holes so all I did was put a little silicone on the clip and covered the holes that way. Then I used some touch paint that matches my car to paint them. Turned out good. No need to buy plugs.

So envious seeing these clean Fits. It has been snowing every week here and the roads are disgustingly dirty and salty, and hence so is my car! Can't wait for spring. Got some Clazzio covers ready to go as soon as the weather warms up!

Do those just stick on top of the OEM mirrors?

$100 is not bad at all, I would get them if they cut down the glare which is the most annoying.

Good idea to paint those brackets Chris

Actually yesterday and today, I installed a set of megan coilovers. Been on this site a long time and finally get to post some actual progress. After months of reading im very happy with my first upgrade. This site helped a lot.

Hi Guys, I got problem with my engine today...
Need urgent advise,

Here is what I did in the past few weeks,
a. Install K&N Typhoon
b. Install Denso IK22 Spark Plug
c. Install T1R Header/Down Pipe
d. Change Oil and Oil Filter. (I put 4 quart of oil)

and since the above modification, I had driven the car for 1,000 miles
and everything is good, the car is more responsive.

The check engine light sometimes on, sometimes off,
but I think this is because the secondary O2 sensor and the Fouler trick not optimized yet.
everything was perfect, until tonight when I when drive home,

I was at redlight when I heard the engine suddenly sound rough,
and the idle rpm also went lower a bit,
I think it is either cylinder misfire
or 1 cylinder actually not working at all.

the car still can be driven but I know something is wrong.
the car hesitate and not enough power...

What do you guys think is the most likely problem?
a. is the spark plug loose (I did put some silver anti seize on the thread)

b. is the coil broken (my car only had 23,000 miles)

c. do I fill too much oil? because with oil filter change, I only suppose to fill 3.8quart,
and I just fill 4 quart... but then again 1,000 miles had gone and no problem...

d. is the exhaust leak (at the joint between the T1R down pipe to the secondary
catalytic or perhaps the spark plug non fouler that attached to the secondary O2 sensor),...
but then again if the exhaust leak, shouldn't the car will sound very loud?
because the car do not sound loud at all...

e. Intake Leak (K&N typhoon)?

this make me go and order Scangauge right away so I can check the error code,
too bad I don't have it ready until next few days...

What do you guys think is the cause of the problem?
I will start working with spark plug tomorrow, but I am open to any idea or suggestion from people who have experience with this before.

Thanks

I too have been lingering the site for a bit, finally have made some mods?...
Just full LED interior/exterior,HID fogs, window visors, cf vinyl b pillars, and some ASA 17x7 +42 wheels with 215 series tires.
Looking to buy some Swift spings with a decent strut/shock combo, or basic coilovers, and upgrade the brakes to Wilwoods, and call it a day.
