Continue to diagnose my car problem
I check the spark plug and it is ok,
the ceramics and electrodes are clean.
the coil should be ok too because at higher rpm
(above) 2,000 rpm, my car run fine and make good power.
I think it is a vacuum leak somewhere after installing the K&N...

oh well, got to put the original air box and test then...

I found the answer :

The EGR Valve STUCK OPEN,
as you can see on the picture below,
there is a white material stuck.
I think this material must come from or when I install the T1R Header...
somehow,...
It is NOT metallic though cause it is not attract by magnet (I test),
but it could be stainless steel...
anyway...

Remove the material and CLEAN it...
Start the car, everything is PERFECT again
I already buy the ScanGauge II though... oh well, it's ok it is always a useful tool...
glad I am not going to dealer/service, they will charge me a lot of money for this...

Was going to say it might have been a vacuum line but glad you figured it out

Since going to 6MT, pulled out my old DC5R titanium knob the other day and decided to take some heat to it with the oven set on self-clean and then after a torch. I also ordered a new one online, actually it is sold stateside as a S2000 accessory, to play with and try a different coloring scheme.

After baking in the oven for about 75 min...

And yesterday after work I took the torch to it some...

I like the rainbow effect I was able to achieve and capture a good color spectrum on it.

The new one I want to try for a green and gold mix, but not sure if I can accomplish it.

Just realise that Tein Stech leave quite a gap between tire and fender, i hate it....i've seen many of you slammed your Fit. How hard is it to drive on daily basis? How often do you scrape your frontend ? Cause i'm thinking about getting airsus or coilover? any thoughts?

I never lowered my Fit very far, however my Integra was quite low when I first bought it (I raised it for winter and sold it before dropping it back down). I've found as long as you are okay with scraping occasionally, and you pay attention to your surrounding that being low was never much of an issue.

I took my GE through a touch-free car wash and filled it with some gas, 0% ethanol b/c ethanol is sucks.

What Mike said.

For me it depends on your roads where you drive it and if you haul people or heavy things. I'm not that low but it's definitely not the go-to car when the whole fam wants to go out anymore. I also pick my routes to have the least amount of scrappage and bumpy ride. Avoiding speedbumps at all costs. My underside isn't that bad but one of my side skirts have gotten a little messed up. The paint on my front end is cracking in all sorts of places but it's not oem paint(respray from a little accident).

If you ask me, I'd suggest air suspension if you want to be low but still be fully functional.

Most of the super slammed cars don't go everywhere like that and if they do they scrape everywhere.

I nearly never scrape because I have been driving a severely lowered car for a very long time and I have learned to angle out of driveways or I just avoid certain driveways all together.

You need to figure out your daily drive and see if you can even bother going any lower.

Air suspension is expensive and not 100% reliable though.

Very true-- it just seems to be the answer lately for everyone who wants to go "low" without the struggles: "bag it."
I'd love to be lower even though it has no other purpose but for looks but I've also learned to be content with my ride height lol. All boils down to a personal thing how much you're willing to sacrifice to get the "low" you want-- be it function/comfort/money/whatever.

Ah. Well I just thought it was an option since he mentioned it haha. If springs aren't enough, coilovers are definitely fun-- just gotta dial in the height that will be the best compromise between the road and your eyes.

Burzpaw, your fit is slammed! I dont think i can drive my jazz that low, not without tear something though! However my route is full of unpredictable potholes, speedbumps, and uneven roads and steep parking lots. I can manage to drive my car up until now without any scrapes, but thats probably just because i have 17" with 45 profile. I still have like a solid inch gap, i want to eliminate this by at least a full inch. So yeah maybe coilover is the one for me. Can i expect to drop my jazz by a full inch from my current height? I was thinking about airsus cause i can drop and rise it whenever i want. But yeah, it's not so great and very expensive

After finding the problem with my engine yesterday,
I decide to Sound Deadening the area inside the engine compartment under the windshield (where the wiper motor is).
since I already tear all the panel apart...

was thinking of installing my Kuo's garage front upper strut bar and master cylinder stopper (combo)
but
since I had to take out my K&N again plus my current master cylinder is still the stock one, I decided to wait until I had the 1in master cylinder that suit our Honda Fit. (I had bought both The CRV (USDM) and the Honda Civic Type R (JDM) master cylinder and both are either not a fit or not 1in in size...

I had contact J's racing, but some of the contacts there do not reply,
one person from US J's racing did reply but he only say it is bigger but never tell/confirm whether the J's racing brake master cylinder is 1 in or not...

BMW,
Do you have any pics of the sound deadening? What type of sound deadener did you use and did it make a difference? I've already done my doors, kick panels, and spare tire well with FatMat and it helped some, but would really like to kill some more of the road noise.
Thanks!
