let us know how it rides after!

I did my first fuel calibration on my Scangauge today. My Scangauge said I used up 7.8 gallons however I filled up with 9.47 gallons. I set it halfway at 8.6 gallons. Now current tank MPG is closer to actual with only 2 MPG difference. Before the calibration, the Scangauge was telling me I was doing 39 MPG, but actual was 33 MPG.

Been doing some shopping for my GE since it is taking up residence in Osaka at J's, but on Friday I ordered up some Spoon goodies, their side mirrors and awaiting delivery on those still (thought yesterday, but no go) and I also purchased a HPS cold air intake that will use the GruppeM carbon shroud and filter (K&N Japan). Covered the upper section of the intake with reflective gold heat tape. There was a dyno sheet inside the box showing gains of like 7.2hp and 7.8lb-ft of torque (if memory server me right) on a stock GE with gains throughout the rev range. Interested to see how it will do on a built L15A, though the car will be tuned based off of the GruppeM short intake on it now. Also received a new set of AD08Rs in 225/45R16 (f) and 205/50R16 (r) to use on the new CE28Ns that should arrive any day. Basing this on I already paid for them about 12 days ago after placing the order back in October. Also messaged Bisi for an update on the new cam and he said hopefully in the next few days to get it out to me.

Waiz, what springs will be using with the Konis?

Will do, I am expecting a notable difference after being lowered for 20k on OEM shocks. I should have bought these right away when I lowered the car!

Which Scanguage do you have and does it allow you access to the TPMS menu?

I'm a big fan of the Spoon mirrors. Your car continues to keep getting better!

I currently have Tanabe DF210's on the car with a Cusco front strut bar and Progress RSB.

That will work.

Thanks, it is a never-ending process it seems. Though I don't think I can do much more or really want to. It will be pretty much tapped out on the naturally aspirated front and I'm not a fan really of forced induction. Suspension and brake wise, can't really do any better than what I have. So it will be just drive and beat on it further till it needs repairs again I guess.

I share your sentiment about FI, I know so many who have gone that route and end up regretting it. I suggest just enjoying what you have an eeking out all that you can from your setup

There's something about N/A cars, especially well built, small displacement N/A cars that I love.

Nice score on the Konis, Waiz!

Didn't really get that muchl power from the second muffler but she sound amazing, and looks even better.
We're going to need pics and sound clips of this.

Nice score on the Konis, Waiz!

Could only get the fronts installed today but they felt firmer and more predictable then my previous setup on OEM shocks.

Will have the rears installed on Thursday and have my good friend do my alignment after

ah the dreaded axle falling out. =[ it happened to me on my GD in 07. Since then ive taken extra time and care on each side for the front whenever ive done suspension work on Fits.

It was my fault since I didn't let him know about it but it didn't happen again on the other side after I offered my help.

No harm done overall, just meant a little extra drama lol!

While not as glamorous as wheels and shocks, I did get my all weather mats in place. OEM visors should be in this week. Hope to get them on this weekend.

I had the busiest day in the nearly 2 years of owning the car:

Mugen Rear Lip installed
Mugen Front Lip installed
Mugen emblem installed
2013 headlights installed
New TPMS sensor installed
Rear Koni's installed
Tires Rotated
Front Wheels rebalanced
Alignment

This was how my car looked with everything stuffed inside, amazing how much you can fit in this car!

Quick teaser after everything was installed

Rear shot

Will have a full shoot in the coming days

Looks good, Waiz! If I'm not too poor, I might finally grab the first of the last of the mods I want. With the list of possibilities so long, I think I've pared it down to what's happening to the car. A much shorter list than I would like, but you have to prioritize, and I just have other hobbies that I want to spend some money on.
