Thanks!
Hello, I had sound deadening my entire car with 4 different material on top of each other (accept in some area where it is not possible).
I used CLD Tiles, Closed Ceal Foam, Acoustic Foam and MLV Barrier

Here is my thread about it:

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...cld-tiles.html

all the pictures are in that thread,
the only pictures that I don't have is the one I did yesterday inside the engine compartment, I was too tired and my hand all bruised up by the sharp panel...

I still have like a solid inch gap, i want to eliminate this by at least a full inch. So yeah maybe coilover is the one for me. Can i expect to drop my jazz by a full inch from my current height? I was thinking about airsus cause i can drop and rise it whenever i want. But yeah, it's not so great and very expensive
Yea you can expect most coilovers to close the gap if you're just looking for another inch. Is your offset high? I remember having 215/45's with +38 offset and I was rubbing when I dropped on springs. I'm at 205/40 now with no rubbing except for turns/big dips.

I had problems with rubbing too but i've paid a mechanic to roll my fenders so the problem is gone. If i'm not mistaken my offset is 38 with 7,5 wide.

We have the same wheel dimensions then haha. But yea, go for coilovers-- I'm pretty sure any can give you a good 2.5-3" drop from stock. The Tein's are like 1.5" drop right?

was thinking of installing my Kuo's garage front upper strut bar and master cylinder stopper (combo)
but
since I had to take out my K&N again plus my current master cylinder is still the stock one, I decided to wait until I had the 1in master cylinder that suit our Honda Fit. (I had bought both The CRV (USDM) and the Honda Civic Type R (JDM) master cylinder and both are either not a fit or not 1in in size...

I had contact J's racing, but some of the contacts there do not reply,
one person from US J's racing did reply but he only say it is bigger but never tell/confirm whether the J's racing brake master cylinder is 1 in or not...
Is there a specific reason you need or want exactly a 1" MC? I have the J's MC and all I know is that since install, I have never had a crappy brake pedal after many circuit sessions like I would experience with the stock MC. Even bleeding the brakes after, the pedal would still be mushy until the whole system cooled down significantly hours later. Never ever feel this now (THANKFULLY). Also I'm not sure if the MCs are the same part number or not between the JDM and USDM Fits, if it is like the CMC, they are completely different.

Hello,
I need the 1" MC because I plan to install (when I have the budget) either a Porsche Cayenne 6 piston front Brembo Caliper or Brembo Gran Turismo 6 piston caliper from either Evo X or Nissan G37 kit with a 380mm front rotor,
and for the rear I will put Integra DC5 Type R Red Nissin Caliper.
The reason is just for looks, no racing for me

Actually, if you could please help me,
please kindly take picture (using iphone or small digital camera) at the bottom part of your J's brake master cylinder,
it should show the diameter...
I had been searching internet but I NEVER able to find
the pictures of the J's racing master cylinder from the bottom,
so I never know the diameter.

for example like this:
Name: DSC08672_zps9cbcaa37.jpg
Views: 202
Size: 64.3 KB

The above pictures is the Civic Type R (FD2) JDM brake master cylinder
that I bought from Japan, as you can see the 13/16 means
it is only 13/16" in bore diameter.
plus the Civic MC had 2 10mm bubble outlet (similar to Non VSA USDM Honda Fit),
while mine is a VSA equipped USDM Honda Fit with 12mm bubble connection.

I need a MC that say 1 which will mean 1"
I am lucky that I am able to sell the Civic Type R MC again on eBay today,... and recoup some of my money...

I also had bought USDM CRV brake master cylinder which is 1",
problem is the reservoir inlet distance between the 2 inlet is different,
so I can NOT move the reservoir from my current stock master cylinder
to that one, and the CRV one is too tall, won't fit on our car.
so I have to return and endure 20% restocking fee...

Yeah, so far I already lose like $50 just from experimenting of ordering unknown stuff...

Even if I buy the J's racing one, I still need to modify the hard brake line,
since the orientation between the JDM Fit and USDM Fit is different,
but I already bought all this line/adaptor.
I even already bought the tool to bend the hard brake line.
J's racing also have 2 kind MC, one for Pre VSA and one for VSA Equipped car (10mm vs 12mm bubble connection)

I see two USED J's racing MC for sale at Yahoo japan, (one Pre and One VSA)
but for MC, I only want to buy new one.

Now, another solutions is like what this guy do in Japan:
??????????????????????????????2?fitrs/HONDA?Maintenance Handbook?hiromen?Minkara - The Car & Automobile SNS (Blog - Parts - Maintenance - Mileage)

?????????????????????????????fitrs/HONDA?Maintenance Handbook?hiromen?Minkara - The Car & Automobile SNS (Blog - Parts - Maintenance - Mileage)

he used JDM Honda Odyssey 1in MC with Civic EK Booster

of course I prefer to buy the J's racing one if it is 1in since
it would be more simple to install,
but if (in the next few days)
I still don't know the J's racing diameter,
and J's racing won't reply to my email,...
I will buy the Odyssey one for sure since it is proven to work...
just more complicated to install

here is the yahoo auction link for the used J's racing MC:
with VSA:

No VSA:

Well my car is still taking up residence at J's over in Osaka. So I can't get you the information anytime soon. As soon as I have it back in my possession I will gladly try to get a picture of it for you. Just looking at them side by side, they don't look different besides J's being painted gold. Though it is definitely different in feel for sure.

15" rotor?!?! DAMN.

This is my 1st set of coilovers ever but I'm quite happy. you have to reuse the rubber top of the old strut so have a spring tool. I ran up to an autozone $50 to rent it but you get all of it back. It took 2 days so i went to work on a slant 1 day.

I raised the front 1/2in from what they came out of the box and left the back as they came, fronts at 10 clicks back at 7. I live in cleveland and we have horrible roads so I think I'm going up another 1/2 in all round and 5 clicks front and back.
The handling is great no more sway and a lot less pull from wind or big vehicles on the highway. A bit bouncy but roads in ohio buckle like there is speed bumps on the highway. I hit some good turns, highway interchanges and a curvy development and i think the car feels a lot more stable. Less body roll, like driving on a rail. Very happy customer! Brakes next.

If you are just looking to drop they were the cheapest I could find and seem well built with good reviews. I could easily go down another 1.5in all round but you lose turn radius, local roads and snow.

no one uses the word pricey, unless they talkin about the gt wing!

anyway i installed the cusco v1 lower arm bar today. my mechanic jacked up the engine an inch or so to get it to go under properly. it fits. damn tight fit. the mount sits right on the bar. it makes a creaking noise whenever the engine moves like when it is shifting from 1st to 2nd. when i hit cruising speed it makes no sound however. my wife gets scared listening to it creak.

i think it will cause eventual damage to the mount... maybe even the transmission. so i am gonna end up removing it. funny though, all the japanese pictures had their mount sitting right on the bar, and i have not seen any complaints...

anyway, i just put an order for the V2. hurray for tenso coupon code.

Installed the cusco 4 point front lower arm brace v2 today. Haven't really gotten to see how it handles due to snow but I can already feel the steering is a little stiffer/heavier.

Your car is an automatic right?
or is it manual?
if it is manual, it should fit,
if it is automatic then it don't fit.

in JDM, I think their automatic is CVT ??? that is why it fit there???

anyway, the 2 point lower arm bar that fit a USDM Automatic car is only the T1R racing
and the Ultra Racing one..

I am trying to get one from T1R but they don't respond to my email so far...
previously they told me they will have it by January 2015...
now it is February...

The Ultra Racing one goes down too low, and I think it will make
my CR-Z underpanel cover not fit..
the T1R on the other hand is not as low, well it only low at the center.

Lets just say it's something I have already discussed getting. Ended up being more than I budgeted for initially but it's not super baller!

Probably best you remove that bar, not good to hear it scraping something
