bought me a in dash DVD/Navigation receiver that is also compatible with XMSirius satellite radio add on that I can get for 50 bucks. I bought the Clarion NX602 Navigation receiver at Crutchfield.com I think it was the best option for value and what not and has a lot of high reviews too. What do you think of it? It will be arriving tomorrow hopefully!

I was always curious about the Megan OE-RS. Actually sounds really good.

Thanks! I was curious too haha, I love how it sounds-- real simple and subtle.

Well, to be fair, I'm probably a little older than most of the guys on this site, and in all honesty, I couldn't deal with something loud like a fart cannon exhaust.

Haha well this is far from loud and obnoxious. I believe Megan made the OE-RS to be similar to OE specs but with bigger piping to get a deeper sound. I think they did exactly that-- I don't hear it from the inside when going down the street or the freeway. You can hear it when you step on the gas and a little during idle. I would say it's just a tad louder than the engine when revving which is cool.
Had my sister start the car so I can hear it myself and it's got a real nice tone to it, I'm glad I ended up getting it

Hmmmmm I like that exhaust. Wonder if I can chop the tip off to make it work with my Mugen rear.

Between the tip and the can, there's about 3" length of pipe-- so yea, I think you can easily make a clean fit with your rear

^^ Emblem overlays are from here --> GrafiXpressions - Express yourself in vinyl form!..., but I can't seem to find them right now

I like that the Megan axle back actually looks like a muffler from the back, not just a straight can, which is what you mostly see on imports. Makes me think of the Mugen twin loop or whatever.

Changed the life blood of the engine and transmission for a track day at Sodegaura Forest tomorrow. Added some XADO EX120 MT additive as well, since the MT has taken quite the beating in its 4 years. It still needs to be rebuilt for sure, but I really am trying to find a 6MT from a salvaged GE8 to put in versus rebuilding mine. That tighter 3,4 really shows out on the circuit when playing with other Fits.

Oh and speaking of the meet, my crew wants to come with me to the next meet I told them how we were more quiet and friendly than some of the meets I've been to with them haha
We can have an exhaust rev-off next meet

Invite your friends for sure, the more the merrier.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw it, that should work for you.

Air Throttle Spark Plugs

I have done most of electrical DIY's to my 2011 Fit, but i am digging more into other parts of the car and trying my best not to f^&*k it up....

It's 3 years old and has 30,000 km....

I live in China and the air pollution is a "thing" here, so i decided to clean the Air filter and the Air Throttle valve... I have this issue, which is the care will require a longer key start than before, and once it does, the RPM go up from 1000 like a turtle in sleep... so i have to push the gas to make it to 2,000 for it to warm otherwise it is taking longer....

I also happened to use the Old GD fit awesome Sprak plugs VK20, which by accident i realized the DENSO website says cant be used in the new Fit, and it is recommended to use IK20L in New fits here in Asia ( except Japan... still researching why is that... )

So I cleaned the Air throttle... and Changed the spark plugs with some dielectric grease and all the gigs....

This is the comparison between the New Spark IK20L on left, with the Car's Original Denso and the VK20 on right...

The good new is that after doing the Job, the car starts directly in 2000 RPM and warms up quick.... before leaving the basement... can feel the engine with more power.... yey!

with a new reardonut gasket and stock muffler back on, and weaponr donut tightened, it sounds just like when i was stock cats and no muffler lol.

buzz around 3k rpm, else sounds decent.

Going to eventually have the weaponR header modified to become ONE piece like some of teh JDM/Euro offered aftermarket headers.

I am putting my straightpipe axleback back on tomorrow for the dragstrip.

Hoping the cat delete and muffler delete will turn my previous 16.6 to a 16.4! Wish me luck.
