What did you do to your GE fit today?
Guessing those are morimotos?
Yes I think I see what you mean. But I wouldn't be too worried about the random thief happening to have a McGard key socket. Did I understand your point correctly?
Yes, Morimoto minis.
I painted the shroud with a anodized red finish over the chrome.
The lights are not on in the pictures its just the flash and reflection, headlights are 55watt 3000k.
Lookin great as always. Since I know you're into "spirited driving," what psi do you run in the tires? Same front and rear or different?
Is 3000k even legal for headlights? I thought they had to be considered "white" and that 3000k is considered amber according to dot regulations? Seems a little risky IMO.
Maybe if someone knows for sure you can lmk?
IDK about McGard, but Gorilla has specific keys for specific nuts. They give you a sticker with the key code for the nuts you have... i'm not sure if the key is the same across all spline nuts or if there's a few different keys though?

Yeah, the McGard are all the same as far as the spline drive goes. They key is pretty cheap, but still, unless someone staked out my car, figured out what lug nuts they are, then ordered the key, I'm fine
I run 31.5~32f and 32~32.5r daily. On circuit my track tires I start off with 23f and 26r and by the time a 30min session is complete the pressures are about what I run daily depending on the conditions.
To inhibit a bit of oversteer and lessen understeer. My car with differential and the suspension is pretty neutral, but still has some understeer at the ultimate limit; with harder rear pressures you can dial in some oversteer. Kind of the way people over-inflate their tires for FE. I won't ever run with pressures so high, as I don't care about FE, I care about handling and performance.
Though this all comes into one's preference in handling feel, what I like, might not be what another likes when it comes to setup. And now that I think about it, I usually run 2psi more in the rear and not just 1. Factory specs call for 1~1.5psi more in the front if I remember correctly.

No, blue or red are illegal and in NH they dont even stop people with the PNP blue HIDs so Yellow is a non issue.
Interesting, well I guess laws vary from state to state.
Just curious why you chose 3000k for headlights though. They don't output as much visible light as 4300 or 5000k
Okay I see how that works now. I have to remember that not all of us want just want efficiency lol.
Maybe I'll toy around with my front and rear pressures to see what effect it'll have. I usually have about 36 front 34-35 in the rear, but then again mine is a daily driver and won't be seeing the track anytime soon
