Thanks! Mine is actually 3/4". Inner diameter 19mm, Outer is around 24mm. The hole is 20mm so I figured I'd go with something smaller to be safe. Since there's nothing to "lock" on I used some teflon and it "clicked" into place.

Only snag is the plug connected to the wiper motor. Felt impossible to unhook! I ended up just cutting the wires haha-- I'll just resolder it if I need it but I doubt I'll ever go back.

 

Awesome thats all really good stuff to know. I heard a lot of people talking about how stubborn that wiper motor plug was, I was thinking of just cutting mine too. REAR WIPER FOR WHAT!?

Yea the plug seems like it was made to hook up and never come off lol. There's a lock on the side that looks like you can press it with a flat but nope.

Raised my stock halogens up from the factory setting. These lights are dangerously low stock. I raised the cutoff to 30" with the car sitting 25' away. No complaints from other drivers in my short test drive.

Night and day, literally. If you haven't done this yet, get out there! Takes 5 minutes and you'll feel a lot safer. Postponed my HID retrofit indefinitely.

 

they are low because Honda probably assumed it would be driving around 2-4 passengers.

When you are the only occupant, and line the headlights perfectly, its great. Now add 3-400 pounds of people or cargo in the Fit, and now the headlights are off the road and way up in the distance.

Nice thing though, you can adjust the headlights by hand with no tools, if you left the phillips screwdriver or 10mm at home.

 

thats why the JDM fit has the power headlight adjustment switch.

i wonder if that would be possible to retrofit into our fits...

today i got a better and deeper appreciation for the fit. well i already appreciated it alot before, but today it got deeper somehow.

Well 1st of all my friend recently bought a 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Track Edition with paddle shifts. Which is totally awesome for her first car, yup a she. So she showed it to me and a bunch of our friends, luckily i got to test drive it first. The new car smell and that 1st time starting up an engine never gets old, got to rev it a couple of time which was like music in some way. Then after checking things up i drove it out of the drive way, i took it kinda slow at first like kinda getting the feel for it after a few miles i was pushing the pedal to the floor, then switch it to paddle shifters. it was really nice to drive, those exhaust notes were nice to hear it handle really well and paddles work just fine, but there was one thing running on my mind while driving it. It was nice to drive but i was trying to look for where the fun to drive would fit in. Honestly speaking driving my little fit i had lots of fun. I guess we all have our own preferences. oh yeah, i drive a GE8 M/T. After that drive i got into my fit and drove it for a little time and then it made me smile and got a little thingily feeling. Im not sure if i should post this here, but i just wanted to share this.

I use mine every morning because of the mist/fog that accumulates up here. I've thought about shaving it but it's too useful for me. If I were in SoCal that'd be a different story.

Same. That driving feeling. It's got character for sure, something that tons of cars lack now. It's the same character that made Si hatchbacks and CRXs fun, not fast, but close gears and an eager motor are more fun to me than big power. Then again, I won't drive a turbo anything because I just don't like turbo motors, even if they're "faster".

I've bested or at least kept up with a lot of cars that are faster on paper and much more expensive over the years in the Fit, it's surprised some people. When you get it into it's element it's a really good car. By element I mean somewhere with there's a lot of turns and you use 2nd and 3rd gear a lot

Over the weekend, I put mudflaps on the car. I live in the mud, it is raining, and the 205/50-16 DWS tires throw stuff up all over the place. I guess I could do them a little better, if I wasn't wet.
