I change front tires at least once a year and rears go for about 15~18 months at current levels of driving.

And with the tire choices, stiff sidewalls with both, so no need to run high pressures.
I drive about ~30,000 miles a year! I have a bit of a case of wanderlust though.

For my "fun car" it should be ~3-5k miles/year, at least that's what I used to average when I had a fun car before. Will definitely be looking into some rubber like AD08 or similar for that car. I still touge, maybe too much for my age forever young though, never too old for spontaneous weekend fun.

Lets see...I got smacked by a NYC Yellow Cab who tried to make the yellow but ended up running the red on my green as I entered the intersection...

Now have to deal with the crazy hack's insurance company (American Transit Insurance Company) that nobody's ever heard of and lawyered up for the long fight ahead with this shell company.

From their website:

ATIC’s expertise is in the niche commercial automobile insurance market, which includes black cars, limousines, livery, taxicabs, and commercial contractors (artisan) vehicles primarily serving the New York City and metro area.
Basically, they don't insure non-business drivers.

The other week, my brother-in-law got hit in the rear quarter panel of his minivan by some guy claiming he was going through a yellow (yeah, right... BS). A cop gave the other driver a ticket for it!

A little over 10 years ago, I was sitting about 3 cars back waiting for the light. I saw it turn green... the two in front proceeded through and just as I started to move, WHAM, some idiot on the cross street slammed into the front car. He was coming from the right so he was even on the FAR side. Was this guy trying (and failing) to traffic dodge the cross street?!?

Hope your lawyer gets everything sorted out quickly and to satisfaction!

Installed OEM Armrest

Replaced an eBay armrest with an OEM Honda (bought from Papo) It is much more sturdy, since I never screwed the eBay one down. I LIKE it!!

Dropped a K&N drop filter in. Engine is so much smoother now. It's like a brand new car again.

your old filter must have been horribly clogged. I didnt feel much difference with my DIY intake that removed all restrictions of the factory box

Those wheels are massive for a car like the Fit.

You may see a large performance and mpg drop.

Yes they are large. I've always like the look of a large wheel on the fit. The wheel weight is actually right inline with some of the xxr and esm wheels. As far as mpg I still get a good 32-34mpg. I don't expect anyone to like my wheels as the import scene has moved to 15 and 16in wheels for imports. This car is used for work and around town. I use my integra db8 if I wanna hit the track or canyon. Thanks for your comment. I love what this site has to offer fit owners and thank god it is not like other sites like h-t.

I nearly got banned from h-t just because I refused to show pictures of an automatic GSR swap I did in a friends EG sedan

h-t is full of toolbags and kids who have ZERO respect for real work.

They seem ot love it when kids post up pictures of parkbench wings and fart grenade exhausts though lol

LoL, I dunno it didn't look too bad. But the engine does sound way smoother.

I too noticed a smooothness added. But that is not related to performance.

Seems the factory airbox induced peaks of turbulence in the air at various rpms.

I still notice 2k and 3k rpms as peaks. They were especially noticable when I was completely straight piped. They have been minimized with teh addition of a glasspack resonator and a Thrush cheapo muffler.

What are your specs?

Where are you located? I can suggest a fender guy if you are in SoCal

Didn't do anything to mine today cause it's 4000 miles away from me right now.

But I saw a bunch of "jdm" GEs and GDs. Holy crap they are so much shorter than ours. And so much rounder shaped overall. Really like the usdm profile a lot better. Though I still wish we could get our hands on some of those jdm kits, namely the noblesse ones.

Today, I just received my shipment of Nokya Lights & License Plate. Installed my Nokya Hyper Yellow 2500K H11 Fog Light bulbs and Nokya Arctic White 7000K Stage 2 with Nokya Harness. Any ideas how to remove Parking Light? I have White 194 LED's for them too but I can't seem to remove the bulb housing.
