Oh, by the way,
My J's Racing Brake Master Cylinder just arrive today,
about few weeks ago,
after several email to J's Racing USA and later another email
to J's Racing President and another person who is
in charge of International Sales at J's Racing Japan HQ,
I finally got a solid reply about J's racing brake master cylinder diameter,
and the answer is...
IT IS A SECRET,
but he said it is a little bigger then the stock Master Cylinder...
Yes, I am serious, the diameter of the J's Racing Master Cylinder is J's Racing company secret,... !!!

At first I am reluctance to buy if I am not sure this Master Cylinder size,
but
since I want to use my point at Rakuten that was worth around $125...
I decided to just gamble and buy this J's Racing brake master cylinder...
hoping that after I bought it,
I will know for sure the diameter...
you know what...
turn out,
J's Racing really want to keep the bore diameter a secret
that they actually grind off the size of this brake master cylinder...
here is the picture of where the number/size letter should be:

Size: 311.9 KB

oh well, I will install this on my car and then I can feel if it is large enough compare
to the stock one hahaha...
but really... this is funny,...
the only think I can think of is,
the housing of the master cylinder were just the stock Fit housing,
but I think J's racing must bore out the inside of the master cylinder and use
different piston, and if they keep the original letter which is 3/4in,
buyer would think that nothing is changed...
that is why they also erase/grind the letter...
anyway, I hope it is at least 15/16in now...
I never knew, unless I want to disassemble the piston... which I don't think
I want to do since this is quite expensive item hahaha...

anyway, here is the rest of the unboxing pictures:

Well I really wanted to take off the snows and put on my SSRs, but its still damp and cold outside and the weather forecast for the week still calls for low 30s night time. I decided to just do it next weekend and head to Pep Boys to pick up some anti-seize and some more terry towels.

In the meantime, I decided to put on some small knick knacks I got over winter.

Seatbelt Finisher:

I thought both sides had the bolt exposed, but its only the driver's side. So i got an extra one now.

iOttie Easy One Touch 2 Car Mount Holder + Anker USB Cigarette adapter and USB Cable

Finally was able to remove my iBolt Dock. What a pain in the ass to remove the adhesive suction cup. Floss+goo done didn't work too well. I had to use my heat gun and remove it like i was opening a headlight. This one is way awesome than the iBolt. It has an extendable telescoping arm so it sticks out farther towards me so it's easier to reach. Routed the Anker 10 ft USB cable under the headliner and under the driver's side dash. Now I don't have dangling wires in front of me.

Bad side though is since the arm is a lot longer, there are too much vibration s now to use a drive recorder app. Will need to get a real dashcam.

While driving around I picked up a hitchhiker. He said he's from Japan.

Mounted an LG G Pad for navigation and music. It's velcro'd on using a cheap magnetic folding case. It's actually in a really good spot, I can mess with it without moving my hand off the shifter.

Also washed her, and added my Injen decal.

BMW_ALPINA, I can attest to the improved braking with the J's MC. As I have said many times, the stock piece when out on circuit after about 1 hour of constant running, the pedal would end up mushy, even with bleeding the brakes or completely changing the fluid. It wasn't until the system cooled down a few hours later that the pedal regained firmness. Since switching this out, I have never experienced the same feeling even with 2 hours of running on circuit.

My car is obviously still being stored but I went to work on it.
This forum is the best. I did that JDM wiper mod to the rear and love it. a whole 5 mins!
I got my short shifter from AJR with 0 issues. I know some of you guys have had problems but mine came in 3 days and was the correct item.

I currently am using stock bulbs with yellow fog overlays, but I have outgrown that look. So I ordered the new Morimoto XB LED fogs Type-H from TRS today.

I have one.

Did you turn the key to ON? You don't have to start the car but it does have to be turned to on before it will communicate.

If it still gives you trouble, go ahead and contact Linear Logic. They are VERY responsive and give great customer support. I bought a used one for my other car and it came with a flaky cable. Linear replaced the cable at no charge.

Hello,
Thanks for your guidance,
Yesterday night,
I did try with just key to ON, then start the car, before plugging in the scangauge or plug the scangauge first before turn the key to ON or start the car...
nothing works,

then I plug the scangauge to a Different Brand of Car,
and it read right away,
I began to worried that my Honda Fit OBD II Plug were broken,
so I decide to try one more time on the Honda Fit,
and it work right away now...
that is really strange...

anyway, it works fine now
I just need to find the right place to put the monitor

Thanks again.

For those in need, Tire Rack has the new Bridgestone RE-71Rs and Bridgestone is offering a $70 rebate on 4 tires for a limited time (other tires are also a part of the deal). I wasn't really in much need, way too many tires and wheels as it is, but I purchased (4) 205/50R16 RE-71Rs that will replace a set of AD08Rs on my RE30s most likely. Pricing here in Japan for this tire would have cost me about $68 more not to include the rebate and that's only because the ¥ is exchanging at 121/1. They are listed at ¥20000/tire.

This is the top dog of the Extreme Summer Performance tire at this time, possibly until new releases from BFG, Yoko and Kuhmo are dropped later this year. From feedback I have heard, it is as close as you can get to an S tire while still being rated for street duty.
