Perhaps, if you could find a used wiring from eBay,
the dismantler usually sell them from a salvage car.

I bought an entire used dashboard wiring for a project that way

Good idea!

Well, today I picked up my sport bumper from the paint shop; attaching a couple pics of the process.

Will let it dry overnight then add the grill emblem. I can't wait for my fogs and the lower grill to arrive.

Turned it into a truck for two weeks . Reliable car deals with the highways, I get the Ranger. That doesn't mean I don't get to mod the truck while she's gone, though. More like cosmetic renewal, but new mud flaps and a new antenna from Napa. And I may just get desperate enough to buy a cheap head unit so I can have an auxiliary port. The old Tape deck -> 1/8" jack hisses like crazy.

Damn bro, didn't know you were doing the sport conversion also! You were just quicker to the draw lol. And like the other users said, yes you do need both harnesses. From the part list I found, there is also a relay bracket onto which the relay attaches. I could not find this part anywhere. LMK if you can. I am beyond excited to finally get this done, and get my baby back. Should be a week and a half or so

Yo!

I bumped (pun intended) miraculously into a deal I couldn't resist, went ahead bought it originally black and dropped it at the paint shop the same day; I wasn't happy with the job so I'm heading back there this week to have it fixed. Also TBH I didn't purchase the sport fenders and I don't think I will by the time being, the bumper is holding just fine so far, if you are planning on doing so, go to RockAuto I saw a pair of sport fenders for really cheap.

As for the fog lights, I originally had civic 01 fogs adapted on my base bumper with the OEM fog button installed. I'm waiting for my sport fogs to arrive this week and will install with the already installed wiring harness from the civic 01 fog kit, I'm positive it should work.. I'm reporting back.

Question, does anyone have experience using bumper quick release fasteners? What are they exactly for ? If this can hold my bumper tighter I wouldn't think it twice to purchase them but if possible I would like to see some pics first.

why get sport fenders? the fenders are all the same base and sport...

dont ruin your bumper with quick release. the purpose of this is 1). for people who are so damn low, u wanna quick release ur bumper if u need to get towed, go up a driveway or get up a hydraulic jack or ramps. 2). u damn fubared your mounts and they keep falling off. most people i know who has em hates em and theres no turning back.

No craters whatsoever, the only thing that I saw was some mosquitoes making love to the bumper right after they applied the clear coat, which they got to remove of course. What is bothering me is the fact that one side of the bumper didn't align as expected and had some minor details on the paint, thinking is just my OCD kicking in. It's been a day since I painted the bumper, I will take it back to the paint shop to have the minor details fixed then going to wait a few days to wax it and give it some touches.

The only difference between the sport Fenders and the base fenders are the bumper clips holes that are on the bottom of the bumper, nothing more, not worth the swap.

As for the bumper quick release, that was very good info; thanks

im sure that paint is not perfect. no orange peel? no craters or runs? didnt have to wet sand and more layers of clear coat?

anyway if you're satisfied with the paint. don't wax a non fully cured clear coat for like a month or so.

Just out of curiosity what state do you live in? I can't recall seeing your license plate.

If it makes you feel better, mine didnt fit perfect from the honda plant. Didnt notice right away but & the dealer wouldn't do anything but the panels don't match below my driver's side headlight and the bottom rear corner on the back passenger door. Good luck. I miss my 09 style bumper, liked it better than the 13.

Thanks for the cheering ! I went back to the paint shop early morning and got it all fixed and clean, paint matches really well with the rest of the car so I'm extremely happy. Coming from a base bumper and having to look at it on a daily basis with some disgust, I can say that this is an improvement and a huge happiness is floating around me.
