Oh, I thought the sport and base fender liners were different. Yay saving $100!

They are different but the differences are not noticeable, if I'm not mistaken the only difference is that the sport fenders will hold the sport bumper on the bottom sides. If you do decide to buy them, they are $16 ea at Rock Auto, again, just save that money for something else.

Oh sweet. I may opt to go ahead and get them, because since I'm already spending so much I may as well do it right. I'm not sure what the shop has already purchased, though. We'll see.

Last weekend we moved from Massachusetts to Connecticut. Fit got a free ride on a uHaul trailer!

Fit gets a free ride

205/55/15s right? What suspension do you have? Seems like a decent drop to fill that gap.

Can someone tell me if I actually need the 5x20 self tapping screw for the foglights? My aftermarket fogs just came in today and included everything but the 5x20 screw and the 5mm spring nut. Thanks

I had the same question, I was going to go to the hardware store and get a pair that actually fit along with their nut.

You would be amazed on how easy it would be to steal a foglight from another fit...the only thing holding the foglight is a screw...

Aftermarket foglights came in today, installed when I got home from work; for reference, I used the wiring harness from a civic 01 foglight kit and it's working just great.

Lower grill arriving tomorrow, that should complete my sport conversion mod.

Just finished the Garage Door Opener from some Acura (I forgot which one since I bought the module last year), wait it is in my signature hahaha, it is from Acura TSX...

this one have the Blue Ambient Light, Sun Glasses Holder, Garage Door Opener and of course Map/Door Light combo. Also change the bulb to LED,
so no more worry if I forgot to turn it off.
Oh, it also have Microphone for Bluetooth and I already run the wire for this microphone to behind the dashboard. for preparation to connect to a Bluetooth Navigation capable head unit, when someday I upgrade
I also connect the blue ambient light to my JDM Red Ambient Light which can dim automatically when headlight is on and all door close.
tomorrow I will test and program to my garage door opener remote, hopefully it can sync

also this one is powered by the car wiring which I have to splice and soldered and tap,
I don't like the battery modified one like the one sold by College Hills Honda,
cause I just don't like to open/unscrew the unit, worry I will crack the plastic,
so I want a permanent powered one, that is why it took me 3 night to do this...

Lower grill arrived today and installed right away. I also took advantage and added the OEM bumper lip that I had lying around when I removed the base bumper. I ordered a bunch of bumper clips from ebay back in December and they arrived today, I replaced all of the clips that were holding the bumper with these shiny new ones.

With this, my base to sport conversion is completed..

My next plans are:

- Getting the white skull caps for the mirrors or painting them.
- Installing the OEM JDM emblem badges (front/rear/wheel).
- Replacing the Type M Spoiler with an OEM Style Spoiler.
- Replacing the custom side skirts with mugen replicas.
- Installing a dome light (base model doen't come with a front dome light, I saw a thread with pictures around here)
- Adding Center Console.
- Replacing OEM audio unit with a JVC one..

Although I've spent too much money on this car I can't seem to find an end to modding it..

You realize JDM badges for the Fit......are the same as yours, right?

Red does not equal JDM.

Red is reserved for Type R. There is no Fit Type R.

Testing and Programming the Garage Door Opener,
and work right away,
here are the pictures:

Notice the nice cool blue ambient light built in on this Acura Unit,
and notice the big space for the sunglasses,

this really makes the car feel more luxurious
