Started installing my Parts Express Special component system. Focal 6M115's in the doors, going to try to get the XT25XC90 tweeters in tomorrow. Man, it is so nice to finally have some mid range. Those alpines were starting to drive me nuts, perfect for someone who likes boom and sizzle, not so much for an audiophile.

I am starting to think that with the right size spacer and a rubber mallet (those stupid tab thing) you could get 8's in the doors, though I would only do that if I were running mids and tweeters on the dash as well.

I am west of Toronto just off 401 so you went right by me.
I am up in that area about once a month (long distance relationship, yes, I drive 500 miles from NJ each way, it's why I have put 21k on my fit in 11 months). Really fantastic area, fuel isn't cheep though. I went to the pacific mall last time I was up there and that is a cool place. If you spot a white 2011 base from NJ make sure to wave.

Took a 50mile drive over to Chiba for a J's event to pick up their new black oil cap, but didn't have any so Murakami-San called back to Osaka and having one expressed over. While there I saw something tasty that usually is a 2~3 month wait. Hint is carbon construction and Voltex.

Just teasing... Been to Perth a few times and all those Roo bars just stood out. Didn't know what they were at the time until someone explained it to me. Thought everyone was just into heavy duty bumper guards. Very interesting. Seemed like everyone had them...

I guess its just a safety device for when a vehicle comes into your path you won't suffer as much damage.. most cars here come factory equipped with the roo/bull bars

Well not as much as vehicles... but kangaROOS in the outbacks I guess so they won't go flying across your windshield or total your car when you hit one at hi-way speeds. Makes sense coz those I saw were pretty sturdy pipes, not your ordinary bumper guards/push bars type... from cars to trucks, they all had them. Now that would be s sight on a Fit!

Met up with my painter to go over what is getting done to my car in a few weeks: shaving my rear wiper and painting my roof gloss black.

Installed some new tweeters and rewired the head unit harness. This is temporary until I get time to install my amp.
