What did you do to your GE fit today?
Rear wiper modded

I've been eyeballing doing this for some time. The main thing putting me off for a while was not breaking something getting the interior panel loose, as other have mentioned you have to get a bit rough with it to rip it loose. Fortunately, all went OK. After marking the gear inside, the damn thing popped off anyway, I was going nuts, which way was it?!
but you just have to look underneath and see the contact points and you can put it back where it was OK.If some of the mushroom pushclips don't yank out when you tear the panel loose, just use a wire stripper the grab them and pry them out, way better than pliers, won't destroy them, as they are in there incredibly tight, hence the wicked force req'd to remove panel. Sounds like you're gonna break something

Lovin' it now, looks really cool, EZ low-effort mod!
. I tested the motor action using a plastic card stuck on the shaft to check the angle before putting the wiper back on so I wouldn't wreck something if I screwed up

Went out for an errand...very important one.
I just remembered my wife's request that I buy a pack of drumsticks and cheese..So I drove my Fit to the nearest Safeway Store in a hurry..Glad I managed to buy them.
Wife + Request + I-Forgot-About-It = Nuclear Meltdown.
Errand + I-Need-To-Get-There-Fast + Fit = It's a Save!

Put a layer of that rubbery kitchen shelf liner in my glove boxes to keep crap from rattling.
While I was in there I checked my Cabin filter. The damn chipmunk has been using it as a shitter again. No idea how he gets in. I am wondering if a dryer cloth such as Bounce will keep him away if I just stick it in behind glove box? Any other suggestions. I would hate to set mouse traps for him.

The rats on the street here in NYC chewed the wires under the hood of my ‘91 Accord, but so far I’ve had no trouble with my Fit. To be safe, however, I might try this:
Animal Repellent-Natural & Insect Repellent-Natural: HOT PEPPER WAX
Has anyone tried this particular product? Any comments on weather it creates an odor in the cabin? Can it harm engine parts or wiring?
Maybe I’ll spray it on the wheels, too, to keep the thieves away...

I've been spraying everything from the grille to the firewall including the underside of the hood of my cars for over 7 years with Hot Pepper Wax... One bottle last for years unless you wash under the hood often and have to respray it....I don't know why they call it hot pepper wax, it doesn't taste hot at all to me but we tend to eat a lot of chili peppers around here.
Hey that looks nice. I ordered a kit too. I noticed that a lot of the photos are from FF.net members.
you should, it'll look really good. i have the jet yellow bulbs from collegehillshonda and they look really nice when lit up.
I am actually in the process of updating the primary firmware on my Kenwood head unit... taking its sweet time. Then, I have ANOTHER update for the garmin navigator portion of the head unit.
Incidentally, I'm sitting n my Fit in my boxers. @.@

I have the same set up. Just my take but the yellow color is not supposed project any brighter, just less reflective. You can tell the difference better when there are no street lights around. Besides, those are really itty bitty fogs anyway...
