tight as in good or tight as in stiff? if stiff, it will only slow down your ride on street. there is no camber correction on the car unless your coilovers offer one at the mount. car can only do front toe adjustment.

for me, i drove the GE today. no real excitement. just point A to B and C. lol

Why will it slow me down if stiff? Besides the bumps I now have to slowly go over lol. It feels really snappy I won't get the full feel because my camber is a little in so any turn I take at a resonable speed will sound like I'm driving in a parking garage. I'm going today to see of an alignment will hopefully solve something.

hahaha, yah that plus the fact that the engine does not spool very smoothly when you shake it around with stiff suspension. also could introduce abs noise when you brake firmly but not stomping on them. it's from the modulation caused by stiff suspension settings.

remember that when you stiffen up the suspension a lot of the workload is now transferred to the tires (especially the sidewall). make sure you have good tires and psi is correct. run 35-37 cold. otherwise your tires will squeal like a mouse getting stepped on when you turn.

another reason why stiff suspension slows you down on street apps.

Finally tried to install the turbo back in. T28 does not fit as is. Wastegate actuator bracket hits the engine block. Modification needed.

Dropped car at the body shop. Included a 30 pack of Coors Light for the boys and magically some of the panels scheduled for 'refurbish' were changed to 'replace' - Thank you insurance company for doing the repair correctly and not going cheap on me!

Also got them to spray the black trim panel between the lift gate glass and license to match the body. Saw this on another thread when combined with rear wiper delete and color matched plug it looks really clean.

Moral of the story: Its amazing what a 30 pack of beer can get done at a body shop.

Every little thing you do to these little cars requires actual modifications, even on kits sometimes.... I saw that you guys are having some hotter than normal weather too... There was a thunderstorm that played out 4 miles down the road and dropped the temperature into the mid 90s but the dammed humidity and no breeze is still miserable.

Not really. I used it for my license plate as well. It can basically replace most of 10mm bolts.

Installed the Fit cargo tray! Kind of pricey but I'm sure it will pay off.
