Team Kitty
Let's see some pics with tape off. I am going to do mine as soon as my back heals up.

Hey black3sr, here's a pic of the finished product. I removed the rear bumper "corner spoilers", but it's more trouble than it's worth and not really necessary. Sanded off the shine with a green scotchbrite pad and put about four coats of valspar black metal spray paint from lowes. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

Team Kitty - it looks good. Does it give it a lowered look?

Corner spoilers? You mean the winglets(whatever) on the bottom corners of the bumper? I have no intention of taking those off.

Your name means??? I have plenty of cat games and cartoons here Cats

Hey thanks! No, it doesn't really give it a lowered look--just a better look. Hopefully I'll be lowering it for real as soon as I free up some cash from the sale of my other car (shameless plug: Mercedes-Benz : G-Class : eBay Motors (item 230460735511 end time Apr-17-10 22:53:19 PDT)). And yes, by corner spoilers, I meant the winglet things. You're supposed to remove the entire bumper before taking them off, which might have something to do with my 1/2 hour contortionist struggle to reach the final screws and nylon rivets. Teamkitty, well, that's a story for another day...

My Accord horn finally arrived when I got home from work yesterday. Had the old rinky dink horn out and the new one on in about ten minutes.....Happy.....

I have my door visors sitting in their box waiting for the temps outside to be a little more warm and a little less damp (for the adhesive backing to set).

I did the mesh grille mod about two weeks after I got the car and love it as well

I'm still debating about getting a yakima rack. I really want one, but I have been searching and reading and am still debating potentially hurting my finish.

I really cannot thank the second gen forum enough for everything I've learned that makes my Fit even better!

so i did this a while ago but forgot to post stuff hahah i can probably have these made if any1 would want to buy them? its under load even though the car isnt, the two rods had to be pulled up as the bottom was installed. that way there was no free play or anything even though its 2 pieces. the seat belts still work and i can still fit alot of stuff in my trunk and can still get the spare tire out. it feels alot better the rear feels solid, kinda to the point where the front needs one as well, i plan on making some kind of H brace over the engine compartment to stiffin it up a little and i also plan on making a few frame braces too.

Had the cracked windshield replaced.

It's now so clean it looks like there's nothing there...
