What did you do to your GE fit today?
Replaced Stock Horn
Began installing a Nautilus Compact. anyone done this? Looked straight forward. Kept the stock harness end. Toot - toot - toot..
Need to locate the horn relay.
Upped fuse to 20A. Me thinks the relay popped but I really don't see it any where. FSM vague.

I feel a sensation of rotation around the centroid. Not breaking free, but I can 'feel' how it will go.

Now I understand running new stuff off existing switches via relays. Well I think I understan what I need to do to get my horn installed.
Now I'm struggling with that damn front end mask - the Honda one. Hoodie's cool but the bumper is going to wait till another day.

Ha that's funny. The same thing happened to us when we went. We had our tent and camping gear, two dog cages and our luggage. The Fit just fits...everything.
Finally got around to putting the Mugen shifter in. Took out the harder rubber bushings and replaced them with some brass 2 piece ones I purchased many years ago for my 5R Teggy (that it didn't need as the factory shifter already had metal mounts unlike the RSX). So the H-Fit mounts are going to collect dust. Shifter throw is definitely shorter (just rowing through the gears parked, haven't driven it yet) and the overall lever length is approximately 20mm shorter give or take.
Also installed some Kenwood eXcelon XR-S17P front components. I chose them because they are super light and only have about a 1.5" mounting depth, not much heavier than the factory speakers and the sound is pretty good and a vast improvement over stock. I am also building a small slot loaded box for a SL78 that fits right into the rear well (no spare tire as mine came with a puncture kit). Will be adding back in about 30 lbs, but I started listening to some old bass CD's and it reminded me of good times growing up in Fort Lauderdale and I figured a little low end would be nice.

Took of the dealer emblem and the Fit emblem. Looks sooo much better.
Also washed it this morning, first thing.
Is it sad that my car got a shower before me?

Sorry its not any bigger(
). Cant figure it out. Tried the how/to sticky but still cant figure it out.

Tow hitch all installed. Posted installation instructions and photos here:

Now I can move a couch, bring home a sheet of 4'x8' drywall or plywood, get bulk mulch, and other medium duty (but bulky/messy) jobs with the Fit.

Hacked the seat belt clasp so I can start the car with the seat belt disconnected without the warning chime going off. Explained here:
