Fabricated C Pillar bars. I was going to go with an X but decided to go a different route. I may weld an X later once I get tired of this setup. 1" Aluminum Tubing with modded bolt ends. The rear seats are functional but can't be put in the recline postion because of the mounting brackets. The lowest bar pictured is loose waiting to be mounted to the rear strut towers.

Upper mounting point.. Alumium 6061 billet.

Lower mounting point.. 3/8" Aluminum Angle.

Also made a Computer tray that locks in to my passenger seat. I got tired of it sliding all over the place. Connected to a 400W inverter hard wired and mounted to the center console.

Tinker hell, that looks like a masterpiece to me... Were you able to purchase all of the pieces as is or was there machining involved? Don't even bother to respond, you obviously have access to machining tools and the skills to create some great looking functional stuff...I am envious of what you've got going on and am looking forward to seeing more class act additions to your car of the same quality as what I have seen... It is great.

LOL.. I had to respond. It really is nothing but I do have access to more then most. I help run a manufacturing facility which is tooled with CNC lathes, routers and mills and have an Engineering department at my disposal when needing technical info for my ideas (can be dangerous at times if you know any Engineers ). I have a couple of more ideas just waiting for some machine time.
Thanks again.

I just made this real quick. I would presume it is the same for the GE in the US, but really I can't say it is unfortunately. Also if one were to use this, look closely at the 3 pins and the black tick marks on the right hand side of each pin. This will let you know which is which.
