At about 5:15 pm, i went to pump gas. As per my routine of writing down my odo and trip mileage along with the car's calculated MPG... I noticed my odo was ... 20020 miles. Since I picked up the car with 20 miles already on it, it means I put exactly 20k miles on it! Pretty convienent number, especially since its along right when I pumped gas.

Incidentally, today is the 53 rd week of owning my car. I got it on June 21st, 2010, which was a Monday. I forgot to post about it last week.

haha, well if that is the case, I drove it to work - floored it on the highway to see what kind of "umph" she had. <3

then I can home, and hosed her off - and dried her.

OH! and I named her. Her name is Monica.

Washed and detailed the fit, after weeks of not being able to.

And did my best to fix this doozy of a "whatever it is" on my passenger side bumper below the headlight.. I don't know what caused it, it was a 3/8" or so chip and 2 in the plastic scratches, i did my best to touch up the paint missing, and wet sanded and polished it, i'm not an auto body man and don't really wanna pay a shop to fix it, it's about an inch and a half (the larger scratch)

(picture taken before i polished it after wet sanding, but still looks pretty crap)

Since my new state doesn't require front plates, I removed my front plate holder. Apparently my dealer knew how to properly install it, because there was no residual damage.
