What did you do to your GE fit today?
Oh man, I'll bet that hurt, and you probably didn't get a reach around either....
I hope You and Jamy aren't out of commission for too long until your cars are fixed.

i just hope it won't be a total loss. stupid ppl don't look when traffic is stopped in front of em.
@TC: Yeah You, Blackvitzrs, and I all do.. Just glad its being taken care of entirely by my dealer. Rental and everything even though I really miss my car right now compared to the HHR I'm in.

Did the rear wiper mod this morning before work..or rather, i finished what i started last night lol
So i guess you figured it out then? what was the issue with getting those pieces off?
The wiper was just a bugger, and took some force. The electrical plug is just in a spot that makes it difficult to grab to pull on, and the release mechanism is weird. Either im retarded, or you need an extra set of hands to get it out lol. I ended up just finishing with the motor still in the hatch. looks cool though, so, it was worth it.

Drove to and from work today. Keeping the Fit in the low-mid 40's on the computer. I smell another 42+ mpg tank of gas coming

~SB
So far just got Gas... LOL but will be headed to Inline Four in a bit to pick up an HKS High Power axle back
Other than that in the last 2/3 weeks I have owned the car I have put a Ti Shift Knob, Broadway Mirror, Mugen rad and oil cap, OEM window visors and tint on her.
Next up will be drop it, camber bolts and alignment and wheels and she should be good

Oh well, it was nice seeing 43.1 on the MPG display when I got home... filling up with away-from-the-big-city gasoline and (mostly) staying on back roads will do wonders for fuel economy.
In my neck of the woods, that's known as "Tuesday." I was heading home from visiting my sister in Michigan, and two miles from home had some bozo following me in an old V8 Impala SS race around me to the left, then weave across my path to get to an on-ramp, saving himself about 0.5 seconds in the process.

But yes, I can only seem to get more than 29 mpg when I'm crusing around back roads too. Love them long long stretches of road and little to no interruptions.
rear inner frame pushed in, rear hatch has to be replaced, rear bumper must be replaced. JDP rear lip annihilated. And while trying to dislodge the two "mated" vehicles, there was a burning smell from the engine bay. Hopefully, it is just the clutch or some burnt fluid and nothing worst than that.
my estimate it will be over 5K of damage.

Got her stuck in a sand pit... I was driving down a half paved/half dirt road that ive been down a bunch of times before. I took a different line this time straight through some super soft sand (florida beach sand. super fine). My mom and brother were with me and immediately my mom suggested using my oem floor mats for traction. It totally worked. Thanks mom <3
