What did you do to your GE fit today?
Those look pretty good, I'm just concerned that the red won't match correctly and of course they don't have any pics of the red...
took my headlights apart for the umpteenth time. stupid shroud came loose somehow and the nut holding the projector was loose so the cut off kept on slanting. decided to aluminum tape all the holes in hopes of getting the demon eyes to get brighter.

alas still looks the same in the daytime. at least there won't be any more light leaking. i still have the passenger side to go, but ran out of time. i'll do it this long holiday weekend when i have more time.
also, my passenger side triton kept flickering. narrowed it down to the controller. too bad the shit is out of stock, but i did find someone online selling a brand new set. will use that set for back up parts while i wait for warranty parts to come (damn middle of January).

I'd assume they wouldn't be too far off this colour
Or you could always have the vinyl sprayed the exact colour
they were kinda see thru at the right angle. read prior reviews.
That's the only trouble people have had is the vinyl isn't super thick. Mine is thick enough that it's not obviously see through but at night when the headlights are on you can kind of see the light shining behind the vinyl; not a big deal to me though.

I'm probably never gonna buy anything from TRS with all of these issues...
Like no joke, I'll paypal you the cash right now to get you started on some!I was going to import the takeros eyelids until I found out they were for the non-bump 2.5 gen headlights...my heart sank.
Seriously lets talk!
Dude!!! I would be so down to get a set of fiberglass eyelids!!

Its not difficult, theres just a lot of steps. And you need to feel comfortable baking your headlight in the oven. I think 7 minutes at 265 should do it.
Yeah it's not bad, just take your time. I used an oven and followed a DIY on this forum.

Wish my Swifts lowered me enough to get a similar wheel gap as your Teins. Did the Koni struts increase the drop at all? Or simply improve comfort/handling?
Really?!
Do you have a link? I went on the Takero's website and only saw the smooth headlight "eyeline" as they call them.
Would love to see what they look like.

Yes please do!

Thanks, I'll need to trade you some Boba for some pics next time I see you haha

The swifts have a very minimal drop, which deterred me away from them, but they are quality made none the less.
No the stats/shocks shouldn't have anything to do in terms of ride height. They are for quality of handling. All in all the main reason I got them was because they OEM struts can't handle the drop without busting. The Konis aren't really meant for lowering either, but they are built for lots of stress so they will last much longer.
Thanks and hopefully that cleared some stuff up.

The swifts in combination with the progress bar handles like a champ, just want to fill up that wheel gap...guess either a spring swap (ground controls/teins/h&r) or coilovers (tein basis/buddyclub/koni&gc) are in my future.
Clean TW ge. That was my first pic, but finding a manual GE in SoCal is like finding a freakin' unicorn, let alone finding a TW or non-salvaged one.
Our Swifts are not bad for gap.

it's vinyl-- still up in the air if I'm going to make more to sell or possibly do something with fiberglass because it was somewhat challenging to install but I have a few people interested in a set.
