It's finally here! J's Racing rad cap to match my oil filler cap:

Nothing super exciting or game changing, but it's just about the last piece that will go in the engine bay (unless I find $3000+ for a sprintex kit). Next I'm going to focus on suspension & brakes, then interior.

Nice! Is that from rakuten or straight from J's? I've been debating whether to get buddy club or mugen lol J's Racing looks sick

RHDJapan. I was debating between J's and Spoon, and I know it's a silly reason, but I'd heard of people's stickers falling off the Spoon ones, so I went J's. Spoon may find its way into my build eventually. From everything I've heard, I'm likely going to buy a Rigid Collar kit at some point. I think that and the Progress RSB should be "enough" suspension for a street car that will likely never see the track.

They have a few caps that will fit if you're looking for one. On the list, I saw:

Feel's Twincam
M&M Honda (This one looks really cool. I love the logo they use on theirs. Pretty sure this was the most expensive one, though.)
Blitz
J's
Spoon

I had good service with RHD. They let me know every step of the way what was happening with my order, and had a ton of options. I'm definitely ordering from them next time I need some JDM goodness.

DHL on the other hand, are apparently the ones that misread the currency on my order. Definitely using a different shipper. Which is too bad. They're very quick when it comes to getting things to you.

My Sprintex SuperCharger just arrived,
and I think I got the NEW "CONCEPT-2" Version with the PLUG and PLAY WIRING,
so no need to cut the ECU cable anymore.

I am currently asking other member here
at the Sprintex Thread link: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ml#post1328444

who already have Sprintex
to check whether mine is really the Plug and Play version,
and hopefully the right USDM model with EGR...

Hi, Connor55, I don't like the concept of painting metal bodies,
and with the JDM conversion, I need to paint the metal bodies (fender etc.)...
so I am going to pass on the front JDM

This may be a stupid question but what are you using to tune when you install the supercharger?

Finally replaced front drivers side cv axle. So far everythings good. The vibration is gone. No more death wobbles. Sitting at Firestone right now for a realignment.

Hello,

I am undecided between K-Tuner or AEM F/IC-6 to tune it.
If you want to see the in depth discussion,
please check this thread:

Thanks bmw, actually already checked out that thread. I wondered because I live in a tune free zone and dont have many ( or any I could find) shops that tune fits in my area. I've heard vit's name on here a lot and contacted about buying a ktuner and getting etune but the reply stated they no longer carry it. I asked you because your build seems very well researched. I kinda want to eventually go turbo but figure I should get all my ducks in a row before I start to drop $.

Popped my rad cap on this morning.

Not showing pics of my engine bay because it's a mess. Painting my i-VTEC logo on the intake manifold went terribly wrong. Gotta clean it up. That, popping the Blox battery tie down in and some blue fender washers, and I think that'll be the end of the engine bay work.

My wife can't afford to get me the RSB for Christmas, so I might get the rigid collar kit for the rear for now (planning on getting the front ones eventually, too.).

About doing rear rigid collars, I'm wondering if it would cause extra stress on the front (without collar). I was recommended not to do just the torque mount because it would stress the other mounts. Just a thought. Sorry to hear the delay on the rsb.

Over the weekend, prepped a little bit for this coming Friday over at Suzuka for the J's Racing end of year time attack event (supposed to be rainy, figures). Basically changed the life blood of the engine and mission, replaced the brake lines and bled with Castrol SRF. Thursday I'll drive over to Osaka and have the rear active suspension setup installed at J's and have an alignment done prior to the event on Friday.
