Did you have to splice the wires (ie, cut/re-attach)?

Solder yes, loom and used factory routing, just FYI oem black wire is negative.

how come it looks like the little running lights on top of the headlight are out?

Umm, because he flipped the wires so now the signal lights are the drl. He just has his drl turned on in that photo so that's all you see.... Don't know if the normal drl on top are now the signal lights???

that would be weird if he just flipped the wires. why not just install a dual filament socket and run a duel filament bulb?

here's mine.

His words were "flipped wires." I agree though your way sounds better. Or one of those dual color LED bulbs.

You only have signal wires in the bottom. You would still have to run a DRL wire. Probably diode isolate this wires. Still some with involved. The lights in the bottom were hard enough to find in white and that bright. The bright enough to drive with at night. Now dual filaments is still (coil) style bulbs. To slow for me and not white enough

Drove to Jacksonville and back to pick up a car. Car broke down in Tallahassee...so close lol. 570+miles, 13 hours, and a sore back later... Im home. Fit. Seats. Suck. For. Roadtrips.

oh, and I averaged 34.4 mpg. Thats doing 80-85 for a good 80% of the drive.

that MPG sounds about right for me as well, i got that when i drove 2000 miles on the Fit. seats were fine with me, a little ache here and there gives ya character. ;-)

I took a round trip on the FIT beteen MD and MA a couple weeks ago. Thank God I have Civic Si seats in my FIT. It made my trip a little bit more enjoyable.

didnt do anything as i worked 7am-11pm but these came in the mail had no clue where they were with the thai tracking! but they finally arrived.
