What did you do to your GE fit today?
As long as the wheels aren't supporting the car (ie, the wheels are off the car)... why not just let out enough air to push the tires a bit to slide a card in. 22-24 psi is still quite a bit for human pressure. I'd just as soon release ALL the air (stops hissing).
After it's "dipped" and all, re-inflate.
I want to say "less work than unmounting a tire"... but that depends on how much effort you put into pushing the tire when adding the cards.

noticed that some weights were gone on my wheels... had them balanced and aligned.
