What did you do to your GE fit today?
Well I'm willing to bet it ISN'T Lincolnwood Town Center on Touhy. My friend's old accord got broken into 3 times during the year she worked there.
Like woodfield or oak brook. Damn 3 times that sucks man!
Gathered up and organized some parts I've been acquiring to get them installed this weekend.

tried doing the headlights myself, but since i'm a nit pick, i just couldn't get the beam pattern perfectly horizontal. so i sent them out. at lease i can say i tried.
point is, HID ILLUSIONZ is done and my babies are coming home!!
thanks again Btrthnezr3 for the headlights!

would appreciate if you can get me the diameter on those LED headlight you have.
where'd you get yours? and about the mall security...this past december cops were patrolling the mall parking lots here on horses to scope for thiefs. pretty awesome.

Cocowheat, post up pics after the install, and take some shots of the light output. Those headlights are killer!
Was it Skokie cops? I use to love to play around with the paddle shifters down McCormick because it's a nice stretch of two lane road that is real easy to go speeding up and down on.
I'm eagerly awaiting a package for Adele. According to tracking, post office received it this morning at 6:34 am. Now I'm wondering if it will be on the truck for today's deliveries. I hope I hope!
The thing is... I broke my normal habit. Actually, that was a really rare occasion to see cops in the Sheridan ravine. I have a separate habit in there, since its pretty fun to stick to around 25-35 there (only a 20 zone though).
My normal habit is to just stick to +5 MPH in local roads. Got a ticket for 36 MPH in that 20 zone. Slow ass speeding ticket.
If I had just stock to my habit... the cops wouldn't have cared.
I switched out my snow tires for my stock Dunlops -- the weather is forecast to be above 50 for the next week, so I'm safe (I hope).
Also replaced the wiper inserts -- the original ones lasted me 2.5 years, so I just used the Honda ones.

Not too glamorous a job, but with the Midwest winter just about over, I washed and waxed the Fit as well as vacuumed out the interior, then washed and scrubbed the dirty all weather mats that had gotten muddy over the past few months. The Fit is lookin' good!
