So it was regulated to gymkhana (not the gymkhana that KBlock has everyone knowing, similar to auto-x, but memorization of the course is needed as cones aren't laid out to distinguish the course) and touge.

Depending on how long I stay here, I will most likely drop a K into this Fit and shed even more weight from it and continue beating on it all while being a daily driver. So about a Civic, I still would love to have a FD2R one day, the new Civic R, it's fast, but I don't think it really possesses the true soul of what a Type R is all about. So I doubt I would ever see myself wanting one. In that regard, if/when a K goes into this Fit, it would be much more a R than the new Civic R for myself at least.

I didn't at all take anything negative from your post and I've stated long ago on this forum, that I hope nobody ever takes any of my postings as I'm looking for adulation or Tarzans from anyone. Just sharing my joy for anyone that so happens to want to ride along on the journey.
I gotcha. Yeah I think with a K swap your build would be complete for sure. I would love to have a K20 or 24 eventually. I'm thinking I'm gonna drive the Fit until it becomes unaffordable (as in too many repairs), then get something like a Civic Si or Focus RS, and keep the Fit as a project/track car. Then I'll start modding the next car I love how the Fit is affordable, yet very versatile. There's not many cars that I'm aware of that have as much flexibility and "tunability" that the Fit has, other than Civics and Integras of course.

I actually managed to fit a 51R into the stock battery setup. All I had to do was remove the battery tray. Optima batteries (I have a yellowtop) are expensive-ish but work very well.

Anyone know if an FA Civic Si steering wheel would fit a Fit? Considering swapping if so...

My JDM Fit Illuminated Door Sill + Ambient Lighting for under dashboard/Foot Well and Cup Holder just arrived today. (OEM Genuine Honda Access Parts).

Problem is I was in a rush to buy,
and at first I bought the Kit that have only the Illuminated Door Sill + Ambient Lighting for Foot Well only... (also OEM Genuine Honda Access Parts).

Later I found that there is another kit that also have Illuminated Ambient Cup Holder Lighting, and I am forced to buy the second more complete kit.

so now I have this extra Kit
that I just advertise for sale at the For Sale Section of this forum.
I am selling it at far below my cost,
Please check this For Sale Thread:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...-lighting.html

and back to the kit that I am going to keep,
here is what it will do once installed,
notice the GLOWING Water Bottle inside the cup holder

Oh, my plan is to use the Front Well Ambient Lighting
as Ambient Lighting for the REAR SEAT,
since currently I already have RED Color LED Ambient Lighting for the front seat well.

Pictures below are the kit that I want to sell, (Brand New).
For Only $200 including shipping (my cost was around $280).
which contain only the Front Illuminated Door Sill and Rear (non illuminated),
plus the Front Well (under dashboard) blue LED ambient lighting and the plug and play wiring but WITHOUT the Cup Holder Ambient Lighting.

There is more information on my For Sale Thread:

Fun times at Canadian Border Security today. They thought my package was worth $4000 and wanted to charge $193 in GST. Thankfully sorted, and explains the delay in my package being delivered. JDM goodness coming soon!

Wet weather sort of forced me to go to a parking garage and swap out wheels/tires for tomorrow. Heading over to SodegauraForest again for some Thanksgiving lapping sessions with a couple friends (a Liberace(Miata) and GT3), they were out there today in the wet.

Anyways, swapped to the 16" CE28s with Advan AD08Rs in 225/45 (f) and 205/50 (r).

The Advan RZ have Rivals on them, but they aren't great in the wet and rather have a bit more traction from the AD08Rs.

Thanks I ended up going with a stock replacement. I wanted something lighter, but couldn't find anything.

Took an hour drive to Woodbury Commons yesterday for some shopping and the vibration was driving me nuts. Slight/minimal vibration going up to speed to 60-65 and the moment i let go of the gas (no brakes) the passenger side wheel and the chassis will shake so bad. I had to keep it under 60 and try to minmize slowing down to avoid the shakes.

I've changed the passenger side CV axle, tie rods, torque rod mount, passenger side end link, removed my cusco bar V1. I've had it with this problem.

So today I brought it into Pep Boys (I know I know Pep Boys. But this one has been good to me. My mechanic is too busy to do a thorough inspection and I don't want to get reamed at the dealer) to have a suspension inspection. They showed me everything was nice and tight. Nothing was loose or giving way. I looked at the bolts where the V1 bar was attached to the control arms and they were secure. Then I spun the passenger side wheel and me, the lead tech, and the manager heard a clicking noise from the driver's side axle at the inner joint. The joint had horizontal and vertical play.

They advised me to get that replaced. Vibrations from there can get amplified at the opposite side. Looking up online and the first I actually got matching symptoms for the part/area involved. Ordered the front left cv axle from rock auto today. I hope this solves the problem.

Hope that solves your issue! Axle related issues are hard to pinpoint... I had a bad front wheel bearing and ended up replacing both because I originally replaced the wrong one.

Nice, i have all of these and together they really change the interior of the fit. You need to install the blue in the front as well, needs to blend together, then the final piece is the blue climate control

Approaching my third Chicago Winter and I finally get around to installing an engine block heater yesterday. What a pain in the dick that install was. A couple of hours and busted knuckles later and I'm ready for easier starts and quicker warmups.
