Congrats on all the parts lately. Is there a specific reason you did not get the bolt on kind of spacer?

Hi wzlfit,
Yes, I have a very important reason...
there are many post here from other members complaining
that their OEM Honda Stud were broken while they tighten the Lug Nut
after removing and installing the wheel.
it seem that the OEM Honda Stud material is not that strong...
eventhough the user above never abuse or track the car...

I use an 18in wheel and 215 tire,
plus I have to put 15mm spacer to clear the caliper from the wheel spoke...
plus I plan to have sprintex supercharger (when I have money which at this time I still don't know when) hahaha
so if I use the bolt on (adapter style) spacer, it will create a "burden" or stress on the already weak Honda OEM Stud... from the heavier bigger wheel and the more power the engine will produce..

beside I need to take out the splash guard to make the Brembo Rotor fit,
and in order to do this, I need to remove the hub which mean changing
the bearing, so I used this opportunity to install the much stronger
ARP stud... this way, I hope I don't have to change any stud any more
for the rest of the car life... and safer too.

I wonder if that person you mentioned had a hub centric bolt on spacer-- I feel like a hub centric would ease the stress on the studs since the hub will also be holding the load; I'm using the bolt on right now though I can't tell it's longevity since I've only had it for a week lol.
Also, I haven't encountered a lot of people complaining about oem studs(I don't really like to read lol)-- if they're using hub centric wheels and adapters, then I can't argue if their studs are breaking but oem seems to be where it's at for most other parts lol.

This are some of the post at Fitfreak about the oem studs...
https://www.google.com/search?q=fitf...w.fitfreak.net

and I read this few years ago when I was doing research on spacer:
Almost DIED tonight thanks Ichiba V2 Spacers - Club Lexus Forums

so I become paranoid and worry

Ah haha I see your point-- most are running aftermarket wheels(wonder if they have hub centric rings on em) and/or comments say probably torqued too high with an impact gun. But I understand haha, I'm hoping hub centric and proper torque specs will keep me from any issues.

Coilovers installed. Needs to be leveled out some and the front needs to come up a bit. It's hitting the liner.

Pulled that puny meep-meep horn and installed the Accord Low horn from Bernardiparts.com [Honda p/n 38100-TP6-A01] - EXCELLENT SOUND!
Its a Serious improvement for Horning idiot/ignorant drivers ...

Also, pulled the front license mount & confirmed the originating dealer put a screw into the middle of the bumper!! ...

While it was off, I blacked out the lower grill and the center bumper area beneath it ... something I saw on a white FIT earlier in this thread and really liked.

If I find an optional sport grill I may install it later, but I do like this look.
At least with winter coming ...

Discount tire was having a $100 dollar sale off selected sets of 4 wheels. Pretty good deal.

...now buying tires and lug nuts will be on the list for next year

while I completely agree with everything, the perspective wouldn't be complete that unless you lengthened the studs, the nut wouldn't have enough bite to be safe with a 15mm spacer.... Looks great by the way.

Oh, what they mean about "the bolt on kind of spacer?"
is a different kind of spacer that more like adapter then spacer,
where the factory oem stud bolt to the spacer,
and there is another set of stud coming out from that spacer,
like this one:

and this is the description from Ichiba website for the version 2 style above:
ICHIBA Version II wheel spacers are made from Aluminum/Magnesium alloy.
They are incredibly strong and very lightweight.
Each wheel spacers are two pieces design with pressed studs.
Now it's time to bolt-on without any swap studs hassles.

Oh by the way, when I bought the H&R spacer,
I also buy this wood spacer because I want to take advantage
of the 6 months zero interest paypal credit offer

and here they are, just arrived today,
CNC machined MDF spacer for Dynaudio Esotar 650 midbass,
I hope this spacer will be enough to make the Dynaudio Esotar 650
magnet fit in our factory door holes for speaker.

Got my Fit in September of '12 and I've finally had enough of being stock.

My windshield and one of my fog lights are cracked all to hell, so while I was ordering a replacement fog light on Amazon, I also "accidentally" bought some Swift lowering springs. It's not much of a mod, but it's a start!

I just got married in March and this is my first time buying car parts that I don't really want the wife to know about - any tips from the more experienced concealment experts? Hahaha

Starting a marriage off the right way with deceit and hiding finance expenses.

But in reality just tell her what you plan on buying. I'm sure she had hobbies or goes shopping for clothes etc. the inexpensive stuff should be ok. But for the bigger ticket items spread them out over weeks or months. It's not a race. A car is a car, but your wife is something else entirely.

this is good advice!

you will love those swift springs. my next purchase is going to be some buddy club RCAs but its a real balance trying to get the wife approval. some things can be sold outright on family ride merits, like shocks or window tint. but I'm having a hard time thinking of ways to show i need the buddyclub extended ball joints.. I need em!

sometimes what i do is wait till the wife makes a big purchase, and then say yeah, good idea, we deserve a splurge, and then go spend half as much on my car. she doesnt seem to mind as much when it happens like that.
