How does the J's 304 sound on the Fit?

Had one on my old Dc2 and it was ridiculously loud, awesome though!

No problem, I will take some pics when the sun goes down. It's not noticeable during the day but I feel it's much brighter at night.

Are those LEDs brighter than the stock marker lights? The only exterior lights I have now that are still the originals are these, so might as well get rid of em too!

Yeah me too, plus I think it's illegal to not have any amber on the front.

Care to do a side by side of the LEDs vs stock when it gets dark out?

Oh and what brand are they?

I can do a comparison too, that's no problem at all.

I bought them from here:

5-SMD 168 194 LED Bulbs For Car Interior Lights, License Plate Lights

Hi Sandy

Did you also replace the manifold on your dc2?
I had js installed on my previous 09 ge8 (just the tailpipe) and it was still tolerable. And now on my 12 ge8, i've replaced the downpipe also but left the fp and cp stock and my wife said " it's loud and it sounds like crap in the morning" I kinda agree with her, it's too loud when cruising jn the highway. Thank God they came with a separate silencer

I totally agree. LED's use less power, last almost the live of the car, and well they just bing the car into the future of the new stuff coming. For those reasons, I'll be swapping every incandescent bulb to LED as well.

It's very difficult to take photos of an LED light while lit, that being said this is my best attempt before my camera ran out of battery

Passenger side is OEM and Driver side is the Amber LED

As you may be able to notice these particular bulbs have more of an orange appearance rather than the yellow appearance of the OEM's.

Yep, that's partly why I've changed all of mine as well, as well as the fact that their instant on/off capability makes them far more noticeable for others to see your signals. Just be careful when choosing your LEDs, don't buy cheap junk off of ebay for example. Make sure to look for reviews, because a LOT of LEDs are advertised as being super bright but end up being barely visible, especially in sunlight and at off angles!

Those are definitely a pain. Try disconnecting the connector first then cranking with your hand. If that doesn't work, use a pair of pliers to help you twist it out. If you use the pliers, make sure to grab the whole base where the connector was so you don't crack the thin plastic.

I actually didn't have a hard time unplugging the passenger side housing but the driver side was a pain

Once you remove it for the first time it's cake to replace them again

Yeah, the first time you take it out it's a little tough, you've got to turn with some strength to get it out. It just turns and comes out though, I had to replace my markers at the end of last year for the first time because one went out.

This, definitely, even ones that aren't that cheap. I got a pair of "insert japanese brand here" leds for the license plate lights and they were super dim. I got the LED kit that was selling on here a short time ago, MUCH brighter and the whole kit (dome + cargo + license) cost only a little more than the LEDs I got on Amazon. I left a review about that.
