The smoke isnt for lights. Its for making chrome look like brushed metal. You spray it and it looks silver.

DYC has a video on using smoke for taillights along with the chrome I guess to suggest other uses. The smoke just does not look good on taillights. Black and gloss does. What about red tint?

Looked much better clear, looks cartoony and out of place.

Just use vinyl or VHT. It was a good experiment.

How are you liking the center console so far, I have been thinking about doing it as well.

Visors look good on your car!

Well, this would technically be "yesterday" as it's just past midnight now.

Got home after work, pulled off the door panel, yanked the old actuator, put in new, then replaced the door panel.

All quiet again.

Backstory: last week, my door lock actuator started to fail. at first it was a LOUD clank when locking. immediately after posting a thread about it, it changed to a grinding noise. I think the actuator uses a worm gear. And I'd guess the gear teeth got messed up. Ordered a part from Bernardi, arrived on Tuesday, but put off the repair job as it was late after work. Well, after work "today" was late too, but enough was enough. That grind is rather startling.

edit: some one needs to learn to crop/resize pictures... there comes a point where big is too f-ing big. and at nearly THREE times the width 1920 pixels would be it.

Thanks. And I like it. It's a lot more comfy for your arm but it makes pulling the ebrake a little more awkward. Shifting seemed a little weird at first because of the new angle but I got used to it. I love that it extends out. You can rest your arm and shift perfectly.

Takes up two of the cup holders, everything's bolted and secure, doesn't just sit there. and was incredibly easy to install. Took maybe 30 minutes.

I'd definitely recommend it. Bought it for $175 on amazon.

Hey xxryu what is that reflector/light underneath your bumper? is that a rear fog light?
