Yeah, it took a minute to find the spot. It's not mounted securely enough to be safely used for towing (that's what the oem eye bolt is for I guess). If you take off the grill cover thing just above the actual grill you can look down at the actual metal bumper and there should be a little square hole. That's what I used, just a bolt, washer, and nut. The hole would have to be drilled out though to make it as wide as the hole in the tow strap mounting plate so you could use a wider bolt and make it safe to be used for towing.

holy huge box batman! should have gone with sealed boxes. sealed enclosures have tight, punchy, clean deep bass and you only need a 1-2 liter footprint box.

I have 2 boxes, single 10 and dual 12s. Boxes are WEDGED in. every corner I take too fast it groans from flexing the interior panels

Id say the audio setup weights a touch under 200 pounds, as wiring and both amps add some weight, not to mention the boxes are heavily ''bedliner'd'' inside for less bass resonance

Trust me... the kidney punches on sealed are ridiculous. sealed is in in all manner better than ported. don't let the small size of a properly powered sealed box fool you. been down that road since the 80s and quit in 05 makes miss my zed amps... oh well...

Yes! my 12s want 1.0 sealed or 1.5 ported, I have them in a 0.75 per chamber box and the 10 wants something like 1.1 sealed and its sitting in a 1.0 ported box lol

Im eventually going to builb a triple sub box that fits the back of the fit so I can regain some cargo space while at same time making the subs sound better by getting them their required space!

still bangs hard as hell, I have the sub channel at -5 gain and bass stuff at zero. Still rattles the fawQ out of my rear view mirror and side mirrors

i have a prefab sealed box and i wasnt too happy with it. sure it can hit hard but it wasnt moving too much air. i went for a little cruise to Lowe's and goddamn my sub hits hard as hell now. i had the ported box custom made by a builder on caraudio.com. if anyone needs a box pm double07 at caraudio.com.

my rearview mirrror keeps vibrating so much when i turn up the bass. i took a look at it and it looked like the screw was loose since it was giving way. i unscrewed it and cut up a couple of pieces of 3m outdoor tape and applied it to where the mirror bracket would contact the mirror: the arm frame and the wide flat metal area where the screw presses down against. so far it looks like the window vibration has been minimized!
