painted stock oem steelies that i bought from x_25 a few weeks ago. i didn't do such a bad job, especially for first time painting wheels. some runs in one of the wheels for going too heavy and stupid leaf landed on one and i couldn't get it off. they're gonna be winter wheels anyway, so meh. anyone recommend a tire size for winter tires?

Im going to paint my steelies soon also. Since I removed my hubcaps one too many times, it makes the car sound like shit driving down the road. Broke a couple clips around the metal ring. Chincy pieces of trash.

Might paint them alabaster silver like my car, maybe Ill go dark blue, who knows.

Bridgestone Blizzaks are the most popular winter tire as far as I know. Never used a winter tire...even though we get plenty of bad winter weather here I've never had a problem on all season tires.

Kill two birds with one stone and get winter tires that are LRR (low rolling resistance)

Pretty much will be an all season that kicks ass in the snow, but hard enough to be less noisy then your average snow tire on pavement. and hard enough to actually get you 35-40k miles!

I slapped together a bike rack and test fit my bike in the back. I had to drop the seat, of course (56cm frame)

185/65/15 is good, IIRC there's a lot of winter tire selection in that size and is pretty close to stock diameter. 185/60 is closer.

Nice job on paint for first time going to do mine same color soon, exactly what paint did you use?

i don't see too many tires offered for my 15 inch steelie with all those options. =(

I thought filipinoy's tow hook cover looked kinda cool, so I just did both mine in CF Vinyl. Took me five minutes, and unless you get on the ground and stare at it, it looks pretty damn good for someone who cut a circle of CF vinyl off a sheet after having way too much caffeine.

Not taking pics because the car is horribly dirty, but I think you can imagine what fake CF tow hook covers look like. If you really want to imagine hard, its a Blue Sensation Pearl LX with pie cutters.

Put in a replacement cabin air filter that I got here - Honda Fit Cabin Air Pollen Filter 09 10 11 12 80292 TF0 G01 | eBay. Cheapest one I could find. In case anyone else is interested it fits perfect. Been driving around w/o one for a while now because the original one was so filthy I just tossed it. I did indeed notice the inside of the car getting dusty faster than before when I didn't have a filter in. All taken care of now.

my lloyd floor protectors finally came today, so i put them and the mugen floor mats in. I didnt have time to take a pic i need to study so tomorrow ill post it up.

they didnt fit that well but whatever, it says not to put them ontop of floor mats.

I remember I wanted to get them for my old pontiac way back when. Just remembered about them and saw that they make them for the Fit. Should help protect with all the highway driving I do. Ordered them from carbras.com

how is your cover blue? I looked up mirror bras on that site for our 2011 and only listed black and black CF embossed
