What did you do to your GE fit today?
Tomorrow I'll go align and balance, I haven't done that ever since I put this new setup as I wanted to finish with the lowering spring-not-sitting-properly-thingy; don't really know if I'm going to notice any difference on the car. I also want to wax and polish the car tomorrow, I've had it for couple of months and haven't done so yet either, been so busy working on the car and getting her dirty here and there on a weekly basis that thought it was pointless to do it.
I wish there was a time where I could stop missing her but she just gets more beautiful, hope someone share the same thoughts.
How was the process?
37mm offset, I thought it was going to rub and camber was in my plans but after riding it for a few miles I realized that it was OK to leave it as is. I'm just getting used to the low stance and have started avoiding all the bump stops. Building a mental google maps in my mind with alternative routes throughout my daily commute as we speak. (LOL)

This is deep, but I understand.
Got this for headlights of the '11 . Getting some filming . $9.99 - $2.00 ( earned credit ) = $7.99 at K-Mart . They had other restore kits as well . Not sure which is best . Many good reviews of the Wipe New at Amazon , Wal-Mart , YouTube and other sites . Click to enlarge .

Waxed and Polished my Fit this morning, also aligned and balanced. I still got a lot of work to do, might start on replacing the side skirts with the mugen replica ones or perhaps I could get my hands on a pair of OEM side skirts.
Some horrible pics I took to show how my Fit looks after being waxed/polished.

I called my insurance and they told me that the rentals covered.
Easy peasy process if you know what the recall entails. Just call up American Honda (forgot the number) and tell them your Fit is affected by the Takata recall. They'll confirm this by asking for your VIN so make sure you have it ready. After that, they will assign you a case manager who will then call you either later that day or the following day. He will tell you to call a dealership of you choice and set up an appointment.
Once at the dealership, they will give you a voucher for a rental car (I'm guessing this is if they don't rental on that specific dealership). If you want to keep your car, there is a form that you need to sign that for you to be able to do that. The particular dealership that I went to didn't know about this so I showed the service manager a picture of the form and surely enough, the warranty adviser found it and I was able to keep my car. After, all that, I went to Enterprise beside the dealership and got my car.

Weather forecast this week in NJ calls for 60 to 70 degree weather. Figured my snow tires will wear out faster with the warmer temps, so today I swapped in my good ole summer set. While I was at it, swapped the JDP hood back and gave the car a little rinsing to wash off the salt. Summer mode started early this year.

I didn't know there was an option to keep your car.
Are you allowed to drive your fit if you have the rental? I have a few autoX races until summer (when they will finally have the recall parts) and would still like participate.
I might have to consider this.
Oh really, that doesn't sound too painful.

Now this was due to the dealer NOT having the official Customer storage document which DOES specify you will NOT drive the car at all unless it is to the dealer when the new airbag parts arrive.
So while I avoided signing anything that indicated that I will not drive my car it will be a dealer to dealer case. It seems most places are finding the liability waiver/form now.
Called the dealer they told me to bring the car tomorrow and sign the papers which is weird. So now I have to drive my car there drive it back then get someone to drive me there to get the rental.
How was the process thoe do they take my car and look at it or just sign papers

Hello,
May I know the size of the All Fits lips that you bought for your car?
Is it the 1.5in or the 2.5in?
Did you buy it direct from All-Fit or from other website?
Thanks

That's the AllFit Lip Kit in 1.5 in, 2.5 in is really fat and would scrape (I'm really low with my stech tein and I wanted the 1.5 to give a more aggresive look + protect my bumper from scratches). The AllFit Lip is made by a better and more durable material than the EZLip (the EZLip breaks really easy if you fold it, there's a video online showing a comparison). I bought it from their website, I had the white one with my base bumper but at the end I didn't like it because when it gets dirty it looks really ugly and looks old, when I switched to the sport bumper I got the black one since it looked better and the dust+light scuff marks are barely noticeable.
I've see 2.5 inch kit on Mustangs and muscle cars but as for Fit, 1.5 is the way to go.

just one more question,
for example on the picture of the BLACK color all fit lips below,
if 1.5in is the height of the actual lip that hanging down from the front bumper that mean the true total height including the (RED) part that had the double tape will be longer than 1.5in.
so if you use the BLACK color all fit lips below as example,
is the 1.5in the total height of the red (double tape) plus the black part
or the 1.5in is the height of the black part only?
Thanks
basically I am hoping to copy this looks below hahaha

So, I was bored and had some led bulbs around so decided to replace the reverse light bulbs; I already had my license lights converte to LED so the whole rear LED conversion looks better than expected.
Crappy pic.
