Hey bro, these?

Amazon.com: Swift 4H021 Sport Lowering Springs for 2009+ Honda FIT: Automotive Amazon.com: Swift 4H021 Sport Lowering Springs for 2009+ Honda FIT: Automotive

I'm trying to keep it below the $190's. I 've read great things about the Tein ones; are there any other options beside the ones I mentioned ? I don't know if this is the right forum or if I should go over to the Lowering Thread.

Yep those ones. Pricey cause theyre high quality. They actually dyno the shocks and made springs that match, so you wont kill the shocks prematurely.

If ride quality is important to you, these are probably the closest riding to stock. Drop is not as much as some other springs tho.

Just google swift springs honda fit.

Love my Swifts. Improved suspension and great ride quality. Only complaint is I wish it dropped just a little more, then it'd be perfect. Besides that they were worth it =)

Was gonna get Swifts before I found a deal on coilovers... If these ever blow or anything I'll probably just get Swifts

LS460R is a modified LS460 projector with a clear lens conversion to make a crisper cut off and has a more compact highbeam actuator.

Dont get anything plug and play for headlights, your beam pattern will be too unfocused/inconsistent.

The ls460 is one of the best oem projectors(it was the best at the time i got mine) out there. It produces very wide, even lighting. In pitch black, i can easily see across 6 lanes of traffic and well into the ditch. The intensity of light on the ground is virtually the same from left to middle to right, no uneven hotspots.

For DRLs there are many options you can go with. You can wire up your foglights to come on independently/automatically with ignition. Or you can install switchbacks like ryu has in his turn signals, or you can install custom leds in various forms. In my case, i have leds in my mugen lip, and led halos mounted within the clear shroud of the ls460R, which are automatically turned on with ignition.

Heres some pics.

Yep. Agree with all said here. For the zero cutting you can get either the D2S 3.0 or the MH1 7.0. They have adapters that just slide right into the headlight bowl so you don't need to cut anything.

If you go with OEM projectors (S2K, LS460) you will need to cut the bowl to make em fit. Or you can have someone make you a custom bracket.

I know you like to keep your mods classy. Go with the OEMs, you will be happier with the output, even if you have to cut the headlights. This level of DIY should be easy for you, relative to everything else we've seen you've done.

Even if you go get a professional to make it for you, it will still be the cheapest mod you will have spent your money on.

p.s. best tip. keep it simple. don't go nuts with halos etc. they tend to die. i've replaced mine twice already and its a PITA to keep opening up the headlights. but yes better to DIY so you don't have to depend on a professional to keep opening up the headlights.

Morimoto D2S 3.0, Philips Ultinon D2S bulbs, XC RGB Halos, XC Demon Eyes, VLED Amber/White Switchback (Turn Signal/DRL)

If I ever come across a deal on some bilsteins or tein basis coilovers I may have to sell these Swifts haha.

I did see a used set of bilsteins on for pretty cheap...but he's missing a piece or two...which shouldn't be a problem since there's a Bilstein warehouse here in San Diego I could probably just get a new piece from. Then just turn around and sell my swifts. Hmmmmm.

Now you guys have me looking at retrofitting my headlights though lol.

Seriously, people ask oh does the rsb help? does this make the car feel better. Most mods we do we can hardly tell the improvement. Best investment to make and most noticeable change is a proper retrofit. Hands down.

Real talk, that is my honest opinion.

I know I'm very much in the minority here, but I absolutely hate how they look.

In any & all car that didn't have projectors from the factory, and even then generally those are often unattractive.

It's because they look like eyes...eyes that pierce deep into your soul and see the darkness within.

Well to each their own, and it keeps you from spending all that cash on rather costly mod.

Totally understand. Had people say same thing.
I did because I have bad eyesight. Lol
Really helps out. Now, I'll never drive another car with out good lighting.

Go with OEM set up. S2000 are nice but are only single beam. No high beam.
Try maybe RX330's w/ AFS, RX350's w/ AFS or Non AFS but with the Euro Slope, TLs, Muranos. Those are all bi xenon.
TLs with proper tuning have a great cut off and really nice hotspot.
Also TLs fill up our GE headlamps really well.

If you go with a 2.5 inch projector go with a TSX or E30 clear lens swap.
I'd go with the E30, they produce nice color flicker.
On a 3 in projector the STI clear lens is the way to go.

So many combinations with shrouds as well.

Lol ive always seen headlights as eyes, and thats why i love the way projectors look. They actually make the car look alive like its staring at you.

I'm about 50/50 on the retrofit. I like the idea of better visibility and I agree they look like eyes but they also look a little "strung out". Kinda like the car chugs 5 pots of coffee a day or has a cocaine problem. I do think they look better with something like the eyelids burzpaw has. Just my opinion & even if I don't like it I still give credit for those that put in the effort.
