Hella Sharp Tones

Installed my Hella Sharp Tones today. Not too loud, but the pitch will get some attention.

Are they louder than the stock horns? I hate how dinky the oem horns sound.

I don't use the horn often, but the last time I used it I was like what kind of whimpy gutless horn did they install in the Fit?!

I installed a Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust. Led trunk truck. I would like to know the other sizes in a sticky for 09-11 FIT but not one for 12-13 FIT which are different interior as well as the mood lighting that beams over the center front console cup holders. That's an easy/cheap fix if you 13.5 members care to make a sticky. Also what are the best brake led bulbs for brake light's, reverse lights, and front yellow parking lights. .

I'm actually working on a FAQ for the GE. Here's the section on lighting. Hope it helps you:

Replacement Light Bulbs

Headlights: 9003/H4/HB2
Fog/Driving Lights (Sport model only): H11
Parking Lights: 194NA
Front Turn Signal: 7507
Backup Lights: 921/194
License Plate Lights: 168/194
Rear Side Marker: 7443
Rear Turn Signal: 992/7440
Tail Light: 7443
Automatic Transmission Indicator: 74
Dome Light: DE3022/DE3175 (09-11) or 194 (12-14)
Cargo Light: 168/194

Many of these bulbs can be replaced with LEDs. Keep in mind, when installing LED turn signals in stock housings, you MUST use load resistors to prevent hyperblinking (i.e. the turn signals flash much more often than they should).

I'd love to post it sooner than later, but I keep finding more and more information I want to add.

Well I didn't do anything to the car...but more to protect the car.

Stupid feral/neighborhood cat(s) have found the OEM car cover to be real comfy while I store it until the airbags are available.

Now I wouldn't find this an issue but they have put 4-5 holes in the cover from their stupid climbing with their claws. The cover is less than a few months old and now has dime sized holes/tears in various places.

So basically I'm waiting for some cat repellent from Amazon to keep them away from the Fit.

If that doesn't work then I'll be getting traps and taking the cats to the humane society/pound since they don't have collars and to me that means they are strays.

They're not too much louder than stock, but the tone is piercing. People will take notice. (but mainly, they're not embarrassing like the stock horn.)

Got an install? Tips? I like the sound of these but wish they had the red cage still to match my red.

Can you see the horns through the grill or anything? Or are they positions behind the bumper cover? More pics?

Is everything will be done today?
What brand and size of tires do you choose?

Thank You again for buying all the parts from me

definitely will have pics once everything is in... probably my bad for not getting before pics (but it was bad). I am out of town for the rest of the week (hence getting it in the shop today). tires are all season michelin pilots (until I get the other set on dedicated winter tires, I didn't want to go whole hog..... next set/summer).

small shout out, bmw is definitely one of the best buyers you can go through.

Forced to Install Audi Supercharged Emblem even though I have not install my Sprintex supercharger because the emblem ADHESIVE have expiration date and will expired in April 2016... Don't want to risk buying another emblem for $30 each (at least)...
but this mean I better expedite my whole Sprintex Install Process,
(still have to Port/Polish the Supercharger Unit, Intake Elbow and Manifold and Gasket Match, Boomslang Wiring Harness, MaxBore Larger Throttle Body and Gasket Match, Install Defi Boost and Water Temp Gauge, Larger Injector and Larger Fuel Pump Install, JDP Carbon Fiber Hood with ventilation and PAINT it white etc etc etc...)

Oh, last week I got my Garage Amis Gauge Pod upholstered with Yellow Stitching...
This would house the DEFI and AEU UEGO Gauge...
and I got back my JDM Carbon Fiber Fabric Door Panel Restitched in Yellow Stitching
to match the J's Racing Steering Wheel.

currently still upholstering the Navigation Trim, Glove Box Door and Center Console (with arm rest) all with YELLOW Stitching...
Will post a thread once I am ready with this YELLOW Stitching Project... should be done in about 2 weeks....

Here with the 2 DEFI Gauge on the left and right, the center hole will be for the AEM UEGO gauge, once
I am able to get the backordered ATI 50 to 60mm adapter from Amazon...
