Power is being spaced/shared between maplight and domelight. The DIY guide is more detailed on this part, but trust me the connection is pretty simple to do.

so is there just one snaked wire from the map light that is spliced to the pink wire at the dome light?

Most likely, if you tear apart the dome light you'll see a plug with 3 wires; these 3 must be spaced to the map light.

Been a while since I've posted on here. Getting the car ready for the Eibcah meet coming up on Sunday. I will have a lot of pictures then of the new and recent mods. Lots of JDM goodness coming.

I will be posting up a lot of items for sale shortly including:

sprintex supercharger
Top Fuel intake
T1R exhaust pieces
Cusco chassis braces and J's racing chassis braces (possibly)
JDP carbon fiber duckbill spoiler

From the pix below you can tell what's next. A few of my good friends on here already know what's going on

Couple pictures we took from our crew meet in Dominican Republic:

Wish our members with RS could make it but they had family plans and couldn't assist, we are about 30 members but only 13 could make it.

Thats so cool that theres usdm and jdm side by side. Probably the only place in the world where that happens.

Indeed, it helps being right in the middle of the Caribbean and having multiple bilateral agreements with USA and Japan.

You can tell I was tired in that rolling shot. Car looks good, though. Already thinking about the next mods. The wife got a new Micra this weekend, so we're talking about a couple mods on that car, too. Nothing too crazy, though. LEDs, some decals, maybe a set of wheels.

Fixed the radio trim gap the previous owner left when installing the Dual DIN system in the fit.

Used the metra kit from a 03-08 Pilot, modified the mounting tabs, installed in the Honda OEM navigation bracket/bezel and used the slim trim face plate from the pilot kit. Like a glove!

My Samco Hose (Radiator and Breather Hose/Vacuum for Boost Gauge/Clamp Kit) just arrived from Merlin Motorsports in UK ,

What amazing is, even after TNT Air Freight Cost,
it is still cheaper to buy from UK then buy it here in US with local vendor...

The Picture below show:
The Coolant Hose consist of the 5 hose kit along with the stainless steel clamp kit
The Breather Hose consist of the 4 hose kit along with the stainless steel clamp kit
Hose Reducer to connect between Sprintex Intake Elbow and The Supercharger Main Unit with the stainless steel clamp kit
a 3 meter 4mm hose for vacuum gauge
a 1 meter 6.5mm hose to replace a hose on Sprintex
a 1 meter 8mm hose also to replace a hose on Sprintex

Now it is time for me to measure the diameter of the main radiator coolant hose so I can buy the adapter for Defi Gauge sensor probe unit...

Here are the part numbers I found online as my fit already had the OEM parts installed, the previous owner just didn't bother trying to install a trim bezel to get rid of the gap. Being the OCD person I am I had to eliminate the gap. The fact that my car is unusable at the moment due to me participating in the air bag/loaner recall gave me the perfect opportunity to work the trim piece.

77251-TF0-G01ZA or 77251-TK6-A01ZA - Trim depending on color/year
7725-TF0-000 - metal bracket/cage
Metra 95-7861 - 2003-2008 Honda Pilot dual din install kit. (I got from amazon for around $10)

I know there are Metra and Scosche kits specifically for the Fit, but after reading some peoples reviews I went OEM because I wanted OEM fitment and color matching (some kits weren't perfectly matched....didn't I mention something about OCD).

The pilot kit comes with (2) side brackets and (2) trim bezels. I used the smaller of the trim bezels, as the large one was too wide to fit in the space. I had to modify the side brackets to fit...the modification was easy...simply remove the (2) tabs on each mounting bracket.

Put the side brackets and bezel piece together. The side brackets fit between the radio and the OEM cage/bracket and act as a spacer/mounting ear for hardware.

I actually had to install the kit upside down in order to get the holes on the OEM and metra bracket to line up with my head unit. The fact that it's upside down doesn't change the look/functionality, but your experience may vary and you may be able to install it "right" side up.
