I like how it's not noticeable at all to anyone who doesn't know it's there..is this mainly just for sound? I know most fit intakes don't do much but for sound and throttle response so this may be a good mod

Would you be able to get a sound clip? Is it noticeable louder than stock?
Here is the video. You can hear only 1st gear while im leaving the pits

Wrinkle red with red lettering would look good. Or a simple graphic? Some people don't like it, but I like to put a graphic where it has no place being. It's a great way to make something pop. If it were mine, I'd do either a Rising Sun or a Union Jack, or because I'm part of that era and crowd, a NES controller.

Speaking of Union Jacks, I bought a Union Jack decal the other day, and decided it should be on my front fender. I put it on the opposite side from the sticker bombed mirror.

Not yet! Still debating whether to pay a shop or do it myself. The bumpers will be a pain.

If I really had my way I'd want to hydrodip it with a wood design haha.

Different, and it would probably get some looks hard parked or at a car show.

Definitely; I've seen some in person at shows-- I dig it. Usually to valve covers:

Very nice video! nice driving and great lines, you look so relaxed and leisurely...

What was your F/R spring rates and any other suspension modification besides the Megan setup? And how does the car handle on the track?

Been working on and off clearing out the factory sound deadening. Today finished up the tub.

Need to remove the J's harness bar and the Carbing hatch bar before laying down anymore paint. Also still have more work to do behind the front seats. Cut the carpet basically right at the floor bar and have removed the majority of the sound deadening. Will also paint afterwards flat black. Just looks much cleaner to my eyes compared to the unfinished stock look.

I would've installed 15mm spacers on the front but usps showed up in the short time I was taking a leak. Kinda pisses (every pun intended) me off they couldn't wait the 30sec for me to get to the door.

haha thanks. In racing, smoother is faster!

I have no other suspension mods besides the coilovers. Honestly with stock horsepower you dont need any. The car handled amazing and it never under-steered. I was very confident running it and it never made me feel like it was getting loose even on the high speed corners.

Im not to sure what the spring rates are,its 32 way adjustable and I run it full hard on the track and full soft on the street.

Thanks!I honestly wish I had about 50 more HP. Along the straights it gets boring (compared to being in a race car) It was still fun out driving all those cars with much more HP. I hate the wind on the GO-Pro!!!!!

Yeah wind noise is not fun, had to put the video on mute. But still really enjoyable.

Maybe roll the windows up?

Where is the mic on a GoPro? Is a pop filter an option? what about a cheap external audio source? Recording equipment is kinda my thing, even if I don't get to play with it much any more...

My style is a little too subtle for things like that to go in my cars. I tend to build in a more "Hey, wait, that's different, but why?" sort of way.

Speaking of, my SickSpeed antenna is dying a slow death from the extreme weather out here. Might be time to switch to a Blox shorty. Looks a little more durable. I do like the look of my SickSpeed antenna, though.

I'm somewhat the same I used to do subtle, but if you haven't seen a pic of my car recently, it's a real looker going down the street now

Speaking of antennas, mine is faded from black to a bronze-ish now and I need a replacement too haha.

The clear coating on the CF (whether it really is CF or not is anyone's guess) on mine is starting to bubble and peel. For $20 shipped all the way up here, I really can't argue with it lasting two years.
