What did you do to your GE fit today?
if you drive at all like the picture in your signature... you're gonna experience some MAJOR difference.
Are you sure you want a Fit? I've seen plenty of people on this forum, in the past two years, trade-in their Fits because it just didn't give them what they really wanted... the high HP performance they were used to in their previous cars. Even though they said they could adjust to the low HP of the Fit.
I'm all for people buying Fits... but if they trade it in a month, or even a year, later... it's not doing the Fit's public image any favors.

"You tried to do this yourself, didn't you..." was what they said every time.
Well, today I got a can of Milano red caliper paint, but when I got everything off I realized I didn't have the torque specs for the guide bolts OR the mounting bracket. If anyone knows these specs for an 09 fit sport a/t please let me know cause I'm stuck on 2 wheels until I find them lol.
P.S. Gas Pedal Mod FTW!
I used 2x 2.5" .045" gauge springs because the other ones were like a foot long and I didn't feel like cutting anything. I also used some S hooks that were just a hair too small that I bent, so the springs are under just a bit of constant tension and don't slip or slide down the pedal armature. They make no noise, and the pedal seems to match the feeling of the other pedals a lot more. Driving today just felt way more responsive somehow. I can't explain it, but I have got to say that anyone that hasn't done this mod really ought to check it out. It cost less than $10 and took a whole 5 minutes to install, and it isn't permanent.

I looked at the other photos, and it was hard to see where to hook the springs under the dash because there is a heater vent in the way. Once you get a flashlight under there and feel around to find it, you end up asking yourself if those holes were made with this mod in mind because that's how perfect they work out.
Cheers!

Maybe this video would've helped ---> Tutorial: How to uninstall Honda brake rotor screws - YouTube

I'm definitely not looking forward to that when the time comes, but on the bright side it'll be an opportunity to do the brake upgrade mod ---> https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...tallation.html

To put some tension on the pedal so that it you are not trying to hold your foot up all the time off the pedal. I found it caused me a lot of leg pain.

Whoops, I somehow went from the GD thread to the GE thread. It looks like your GEs have an odd kink in the pedal armature? Now I know why you'd need a D ring.
Has anyone ever opened the box that the armature goes into? I would guess they probably just use some kind of potentiometer in there to change the voltage sent out for drive by wire. For some reason thoughts of rerouting the wiring and changing the switch to something operated by hand is making me giggle. Like an airplane PC joystick throttle? Too funny!
...and after thinking about this and realizing I couldn't be the only one, I found this interesting article:
The Saab 9000 drive-by-wire ‘Joystick’ project

Pulled the subwoofer. Holy crap the stock sound system is lacking in low end
. Also hit the speed limiter last night. Felt like hitting a brick wall for a split second. Scared the crap out of me.
