What did you do to your GE fit today?
I'm always looking....if the price is right.
That would probably keep down on the dirt that comes into the engine bay. It'd be a pain for oil changes, though.
Forgot to include picture of the R81's!

dealer does mine anyway. 6 clips and its off.
theres a thread here somewhere about it. its the CRZ lower engine cover. Part 74111-TM8-A00. $38 from Bernardi. this is an OEM part. beatrush is a little different. it has vents/louvres for hot air to exit i suppose. the price is much more considerable too. $100-150 from japan and it has to be made before u get it. it took bernardi two days to get the crz tray to me.

yep, same reason i got it. thinking of devising a removal grill block too for when it gets colder. maybe i'll just block up the mugen grill instead of the bottom grill in front of the radiator....

thanks again
When I check the Beatrush is 238. This looks good, I will definitely have to check this out. Did you have to drill any metal? And did the "bunch of 8mm bumper clips" come from Bernardi, do you know about how many you used and do you happen to have have a part number for the clips? How secure do you feel about the attachment that it will not come loose on the highway?
thanks again
thanks again
Mini-Odessey says he used 2 screws as well:
"The 2 front screws are actually fairing screws from a Honda VFR800, this is neat because the screws have a fat blank unthreaded section that allows it to be tightened without stressing the plastic or over torquing it. The front 2 screws mounts do have threading from the factory that lines up, what you have to do is drill holes through the factory Fit plastic under panel and you will see 2 metal tabs that has threads that already exists."
Sounds and looks good but I have no clue where to get "fairing screws from a Honda VFR800" or the equivalent.

OR
Go to a Honda Powersports dealership/service center and ask for that.
Not very hard.
Maybe ill try out those fairing screws. I did get an 8mm clip to fit in that metal hole
Did a quick wash, clean, polish and wax of my carbon pieces. The diffuser was in much need, but no picture of it as it was already dark and of course it sits at the bottom of the car.

Used Marine21 products for this. Have a typhoon possibly coming our way, so the added salt would just love to Richard with the finish.

hum...
Got my Fit back from the body shop... overall decent job I suppose.
The (minor?) complaints I have are:
1. It looks a little dulled out. I mean there is a specific sharp line that follows the arch of the wheel well. The repair doesn't look as sharp... like someone accidentally used sand paper on that line a few times before remembering it's supposed to be sharp.
2. The paint itself looks pretty good, but maybe a hair less "metallic" than the factory SSM paint. Around the factory paint, it looks like there is metal dust in the paint.. The repair doesn't quite have that... more like super tiny pits instead of metal dust.
When really up close, you can see this, but not from a dozen or so feet away. So I just need to get used it it.
Now I need to take my Fit to the mechanic in hopes of getting the TPMS dealt with. *sigh*
