Installed a new blower motor resistor, since it was so nice out this morning. Next I'll going to buy some new headliner

Nice! Do you plan on installing a harness or use oem seatbelts?

Are those aftermarket seats more comfortable than the stock ones? I've thought about getting some Sparcos from Amazon if they are. The stock seats are just awful in these cars. Really unsupportive for my old man back.

Thanks for info. I've been debating about picking those up for the longest.

I'm keeping it OEM. That's an overkill for me.

Hard to say because I didn't find the stock seat uncomfortable. The aggressive bolstering may be a turn off for some who are looking for real comfort. There's not much wiggle room and the seats are much firmer than stock. I would try it out first if you can. Maybe look into 8th gen Civic Si seats. Those look real comfy and it has an airbag.

Nice center caps -)

May I borrow that rock? I need a new windshield. After 5 1/2 years getting that sandblasted look, especially in the late Fall sun.

First DIY oil change today. Removed my engine cover took a couple of minutes and re-install was quick too. Used Royal Purple Synthetic 0w20 and Royal Purple Filter I got on the cheap from Pep Boys last month. Also installed Fumoto 106N Valve. Since I plan to do my own oil changes from now.

Just had new Katzkins installed. Two tone Black and putty (to match pillars and headliner). I did full face leather. It feels like a luxury compact car!

205/50/16 tires
Drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads
Tinted Windows
Weathertech Floor Liners
Honda center arm rest
OEM Ambient Lighting Kit
Door Seal Trim Kit
Katzkin Leather

I mean no disrespect when I ask this: why not go with a GTI or a Golf to begin with if you wanted to get something more 'luxurious'?
If my budget permitted, I'd have gotten a GTI so when I see Fit owners spending so much on their car like this, I get a bit confused.

Having come from a MKV, I had to comment. German cars are incredible pieces of engineering. If I had the time and/or money I would still be driving them. But they just aren't very intuitive to work on. It's a different type of engineering mindset than a Japanese car. Are they reliable? Sure, certainly not much worse than any other car. But if something does break, fixing it isn't a lot of fun for your wallet or time.

My attainable dream car is still a Golf with Audi TT-RS turbocharged 5 cylinder goodness. It's been done in a MK6. But I'll leave that one to later in life

Can the door panels be purchased separately?

First thing was I wrote a check for this car, so I could have bought more, but chose not to. The plan always was to put a few years of wear on the interior before I replaced it. Second the leather was only $1495. I wanted a fit specifically because this will become my sons car and powered appropriately for new 15 yr old driver. Last we will drive it until its wheel fall of. $1495 may seem like a lot unless you put 250k miles on it. Last it is a Honda and I will take the reliability of the Honda over a VW any day.

I assume so because my installer messed up one door panel and had to order a replacement from Katzkin separately. I would go to an authorized dealer and ask. Katzkin does sell the vinyl by the yard and leather by the hide as well so I would be surprised if you couldn't just order door panels.

i was looking at their site and MSRP is $2500~. $1500 is a considerable discount from that. What is the ordering turnaround? Clazzios take like 6 months to make...

I ordered them on a Friday from the dealer and he received them on the following Thursday. It was 1495+ tax installed for full face leather front and back seats with door panels. $1295 with the standard leather content.
