What did you do to your GE fit today?
Maybe its me... but it looks like the pics are reversed.
I guess I'll say this... I may be misplacing my "disappointment" in the Dodge. It seems to me that my sister and her husband don't particularly take car of there vehicles too well.
I honestly think I took better care of their Pathfinder in the 2 years I borrowed it than they have in the 12 years of owning it. Which is saying a lot, since I abused it too! But hey, I paid $700 for good tires for it, WHILE I was trying to buy a Fit.
... Trying to resist going off on a rant.
Edit: to be on topic, it snowed overnight! So today will be the first time I've driven the Fit in snow and the first time in over 15 years I've driven a manual trans in snow. Should be... interesting.

Actually the 2nd one looks lowered as well...may just be the angle, but the before pic is DEFINITELY lower than the after. =)

Just installed 08 Accord low freq horn - didnt remove hood latch shrowd just unclipped bottom and gently pulled away from horn to allow access to fixing bolt. A little more trouble but definitely do-able and didnt risk breaking those plastic fasteners.
Also installed carpet clips for OEM rubber mats and Carbon fiber manual shifter knob.
Received in mail this week: Dash trim kit for aftermarket stereo, 2 pair Polk Audio 6.5" door speakers, amplifier power cable kit, DIY parts for SRI, Eiback lowering springs (Prokit) - about 10 hrs worth of install!

I drove my Fit in snow for the first time today...pretty good and I'm glad I've got those new Conti DWS', well mine have 10k on them already
Just getting used to NO traction control but I do have it, right....right foot up and down

Well, I'm done with my first day of snow driving in the Fit.
I forgot to add, it's been 6 years since I drove in snow with a FWD.
Being cautious, I did pretty well on the braking, getting ABS to activate for only a split second on three separate stops. My problem was getting started! Even starting in second gear I was struggling to get some grip. I guess I'm still too aggressive.

Soldered the Alpine wiring to factory adapter harness (well, technically that was yesterday)

Took the leap and installed the trim kit and Alpine CDA-9887 myself - first head unit Ive installed. Only broke two trim fastening clips too... Oh well gotta stop by the dealer tomorrow anyway to cut & program my keyless entry blank.

Hid the Aux input in the upper glove box:

See it there on the right?

The Alpine is FARRRRRR superior sound as compared to factory deck. Next steps: running all the RCAs, 4g amp power cable and 12g speaker wire, installing 4 door speakers with Dynamat door kits and mounting a couple ginormous amps.
Any suggestions on where to mount an amp or 2 while keeping it relatively factory? Boston Acoustic GT-475 (doors) and JL Audio G1700 (sub). Dont want to mount the JL to the box if I can help it.
Im also toying with the idea of mounting blue LEDs inside the air ducts so that you can see a blue glow inside the vents but only when the headlights are on.
