If you were braking very hard or the traction was bad, it might be the ABS system working as designed, with a sort of grinding or pulsating vibration and the system's pump noises. If it was normal braking on clear pavement, though, you're right that it's probably warped rotors. The solution is to replace them or possibly get them turned true on a lathe (if there's sufficient material to do so...often, turning isn't possible). It should be a comparatively inexpensive and simple repair.

16000 km seems to me a bit early for needing brake work, but a whole lot depends on the driving conditions one has and one's driving style. City driving requires a lot more braking than cruising down the highway.

Hey thanks alot... I know how abs works. And the vibrations i m talking about comes under normal braking at high speeds like 120+ kmph speeds. the front of car was shaking so terribly that it took the sh#t out of me.. So then i drove under 80 kmph... As i have upgraded my tyres from 175 to 195 will honda guys still entertain me or should i go to local mech?

I installed a very popular winter mod up here in Canada. What you do is you drive around until you get snow packed into the wheel well. Then you keep driving around and it packs along the sides too. Then you have this sweet fender/side skirt combo. Very popular for 5-6 months of the year. Universal and fits all cars, so no one gets left out of the trend.

I know this seems silly, but I would check your lug nuts. Especially if you've just recently had those new tires put on. Honda doesn't care what size tire you have on the car though, don't worry about that.

amazing things can happen if a show involves the different crews in the decision making... made it easy for us despite the "drama" one vendor caused. the vendor who has the permit for the lot decided to cancel the location due to stupid monetary issues at the last minute. but like I said... the collaborative effort of different crews pulled us thru. Brauerhouse - Lombard Restaurant, Live Music & Bar a biker/hot-rod bar stepped up to take us just 4hrs before the show time... yep, a biker/hot-rod bar love these guys so much!!!

that's awesome! good to hear even the domestic folks were willing to host an import crowd! that's almost unheard of if you asked me.

i hate vendors with stupid monetary issues. they should just not speak up to hold a show like that if they can't even pay their own frikken bills.

warped rear brake drums or warped front rotors are a possibility, happened on my old Civic awhile back from braking under high speeds (even had drilled/slotted rotors on the front and back)

Yep. 205/45/16. Came on the wheels with practically 90% tread. I won't say what I paid for this setup, but I got an insane steal.

Lol. Less than half of what it would all cost new. Wheels are flawless as well, after I put on replacement decals.
