What did you do to your GE fit today?

Sorry, I never got an email notification for your comment. Cost, including tax, was $18 and change. I think they're like $6 each from Bernardi or College Hill, but when you pay shipping, it probably comes out a little higher.

yea very surreal exp. didnt know anybody when i decided on going. but when i got there it wasn't all about who spent more bank, whose ride looks better, whose car goes faster. the enthusiasm for this car was pretty mutual. i parked mines next to a pillar and a wire fenced off heating panel. one guy was nice enough to run around behind me and let me know how close i was to the back. i left with plenty of ideas to add/improve my car. hope u can find a few like minded ppl over there!

Tuesday last week, (november 2nd, 2010) I got into an accident. Jackass took a curve too fast, wound up in my lane, and I narrowly avoided hitting him. Instead, I hit the guardrail, he/she (unknown driver) took off after causing my accident.
The fit (Gustave) looks like this:

Sorry about the fit. Have a feeling that's not going to buff out.
Best of luck for a speedy recovery.

always heart wrenching to see a Fit in that shape.. my cuz got his BMW totalled last month, but as soon as the accident happened he jumped out of the car (miraculously) and went to check on the kids in the backseat. sometimes life always wins out in what matters more, there's no price tag on life for what it's worth. nomatter how much we spend caring for our cars, a car is always just something we can throw money at and make better.
~hope you're back on your feet soon!

Finally got to paint over the gross blemishes some jerks did to my rear driver side corner bumper. Overall I think I did a pretty good job. Today hopefully I get to sand it down, and put clear coat on. Only 2 days left of unusually mild weather, gotta make the best of it!

Finally installed my rear bumper protector. This is 2 years after I bought it! Should get to the horn swap in another year at the rate I'm going...
Car projects get last priority these days now that I'm a father of 2 boys.

I finally managed to get over 300 miles in one tank... took 3-1/2 months to do it. Of course, the down side, was that 1/2 the tank was when I was on the highway for the better part of Monday. Amazingly, I still had a gallon of gas left in the tank.
Now, if I could get 300 on just work driving (deliveries), I'll be REALLY happy.

I have 245 miles on the odometer and the fuel gauge needle is just barely past the 1/2 mark... I will admit to having been a very good boy and staying at the speed limit more than I normally do... I have been under the limit more times than over it this tank and haven't spun the wheels or hit 3 digits on the speedometer on this tank either.... I think old age is affecting my driving now as well as my sex life, vision and the amount of dental work needed to keep all of my teeth.

Do you drive 2 miles per trip, about 10 times in 4 hours?
If I drive "like I stole it"... I can actually pull better MPGs. It's the following the stop signs and doing deliveries that pull the MPGs down.
